Понравилось Nice tidy site the hosts were lovely has toilets and a shower with a pot wash area too the hosts seem lovely and welcoming campsites in a nice area close to local towns and good transport links value for money large pitches too

Понравилось Staff, set up and the most amazing shower, powerful, hot! Great pitch nice and level and amazing views 360! Worth every penny!

Понравилось Easy to book very last minute easy check in and lovely site and people who work hard and raise some funds for pet charity.
10 mins drive to coast.
Very peaceful level pitches which were all grass, with a few having ehu, grounds were kept very well and clean.
Met a few other friendly guests that return regularly.
At weekends has a little cost bar and food van that open for a few hours.

Не понравилось Only downside (which was not a problem for us but maybe for others) can't fill tank up with water and can only use portaloos at night time on second site.

От менеджера: Hi it was very nice to meet you, we are pleased you had a pleasant stay sadly we cant fill motorhome water tanks as we are on a water meter but we can fill hand hels or roller barrels water, as most people will eventually be on meters it will become apparent cost wise why we cant afford to fill tank on the price we charge.
The portaloo's on site 2 are for night time convenance but you are still able to walk over to the flushing toilet that are illuminated all night if you don't want to use your own facilities. We hope your next visit may be fore longer than one night and you will be very welcome until then safe travels and happy camping in your home from home

Понравилось Owners were lovely stands out most. First time taking youngest camping, site was secure and well maintained. Nice little park on site. Toilets and showers not far away with good signage.
Nice, reasonable food made on site for when didn't fancy cooking.

Не понравилось Can't think of anything, perhaps poy wash water got really hot very quick. But learnt add cold first. So easily solved

Понравилось Pitch room and surrounding area was more than I expected,toilets and showers were great shame bar not open and no food available but overall will definitely stay again and will highly recommend the site go friends and family all the best

Nice to think some of our fee went to a good cause.

The location. Nothing near by except the sewage works and busy road.

The arrival and parking instructions were over complicated.

The ‘warm welcome’ that was advertised was actually abrupt, unfriendly and verging on rude….as per many of the other reviews I had read, but ignored…

Not sure if it was just cos the place was so busy, or because we were 2 minutes after 7pm - .which was supposed to be the last check in time - although we did phone and speak to someone and sent 2 emails advising we were arriving 5-10 mins late…

We wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it am afraid.

От менеджера: It was me you phoned about arriving being after 7 arrival and I said as long as you were here before dusk it was fine.
It was also myself who gave you pitch instruction & a map so I don't see how difficult you found them to follow or if I was rude.
You were on site 2 and as the flushing toilets are on site 1 we placed portaloo's for campers to use in the night but you could have walked a few yards to the main flushing units there are 2 very large blocks of toilets if you didn't wish to use your motorhome toilet.
I was, when you arrive serving in the catering van, sorry I was busy but I did try to explain the map & how to retrace your steps to reach your pitch, you visited the bar and I have since spoken to you via email as I had doubled the paper work and at first thought you had been unable to come, after speaking to you it's obvious you had arrived and I had doubled up on maps.
I am also sorry that you couldn't stay on site 1 where the play park & bar are but you only booked on the Thursday night for arrival on Saturday for 1 night and by your booking date we had already filled site 1.

I do feel it is important to answer your complaints as they can give people the wrong impression. I try very hard to accommodate campers on their arrival time so I feel you are very unfair as other campers who also arrived after you with no complaints, perhaps if you had more time to look around your views would have perhaps changed. Понравилось For the cost the facilities were really good I've paid the same for a spot on a field. Lovely staff Marj is a joy. Showers really poweful. Toilets clean. Little cafe and bar at weekends. Pitches are spacious and flat.
