Понравилось Easy access. WiFi. Power and water on pitch. Plenty of grass.

Не понравилось Not many of the pitches have the expected views. Many pitches on uneven ground. Arduous walk to Lynton/Lynmouth. No hose in the chemical waste area. Push button showers last 3/5 SECONDS!!!!

Понравилось Overall lovely site, had a bay view pitch and we did have a good view of the coast and sea (although this did mean we were exposed to the wind, ok in a van, a tent may have been a bit more of a challenge).

The facilities were among some of the best I have seen, modern and clean, with an indoor washing up area (what a treat!). the food vendors on site were also a great addition and saved cooking one night!

Overall a good an enjoyable stay and I would be back!

Не понравилось Showers are non adjustable and set far to hot for my liking, there were points where it was genuinely burning hot, alongside a push button that only lasts 4 seconds (yes, I actually counted, every shower lasted a max of 4 seconds after button pushing) leads to a pretty naff shower experience, this needs changing, it is impossible to have a nice shower while having to use one hand to keep a button pushed down!

The walk from the bay view pitches to the facilities is a little arduous, it’s not an unreasonable distance, but is uphill, didn’t bother us but worth noting.

Понравилось Staff were very helpful, everywhere was very clean and tidy, with some lovely little additional touches like the dish clothes and kitchen towels that could be used free of charge. also the food trucks, permanent and visiting were great.

Не понравилось the timer on the water for the showers was less that 5 seconds, had to learn to shower one handed ignorer to keep pressing the button

Понравилось Site is in a lovely position and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Dog exercise field was great and also the 'eat at the retreat'.

Не понравилось Although the shower block is modern and very clean there are a couple of things which would make having shower more efficient and pleasant.
1. As the weather had changed heating would've been appreciated
2. The water cut off is a little too quick, particularly when the block is cold.
3. There is nowhere to put shower gel/shampoo within the cubicle, a shelf would be helpful.
4. For those in a tent or camper without facilities the lack of privacy
cubicles with wash basins is surely difficult. For example not everyone wants to wash their face/brush their teeth or do their make up in public.

Понравилось Absolutly lovely site! Couldnt fault a thing, lovely spacious pitch, great view over the fields behind, very clean and tidy with friendly reception staff. Shame we only stayed the 1 night over bank holiday! A nice touch having the Airstream serving food and cocktails 👌
