От менеджера: Thanks for your review of your stay on our site. We have a great team who have been with us for some seasons now and they know how to look after the site and keep it to the standard people expect on holiday.
As for the signs.....some people read them and some people don't! It's so hard to make sure everyone knows what is expected of them so that everyone can get on and enjoy their holiday. The rules are there to make lives easier, or that's what we aim for. It's tempting to take them all down and see how we all get on but we aren't sure that would work either!
Safe to say you've enjoyed your stay and be assured we are chasing the man about the WiFi!

Понравилось I like the large grass pitch with plenty of space. The campsite was quiet and peaceful and I enjoyed the wildlife, especially the deer in the morning.

Не понравилось Although the showers and toilets were very clean. I was disappointed with the temperature of the shower. It was warm at best and you couldn’t hold the temperature.
I understand that it is a push button shower and you have to be careful not to scold somebody. However, I would have preferred to be able to adjust the temperature.

The showers are normally very reliable but we will have an extra check on the temperature - they are thermostatically controlled but we understand that doesn't suit everyone.

От менеджера: We love our dogs and the walk is great to hep them have a wander off the lead, as long as you have good recall! The farm walk goes straight from site and out on to the nab for some stunning views over the heather.

Понравилось We stayed in the Willoughby static caravan for four nights, five days,
Fantastic little site,
Welcomed when we arrived,
The static caravan, was very comfortable, clean, tidy and had everything we needed,
It was a great base for us to explore Whitby, York, and I even got a cheeky visit to matthew’s car auctions (the bangers and Cash TV show)
Got to meet Dave, Derek’s son, who was very nice, managed to get a picture with him,
Great place to stay, very reasonable price,
Thank you for your hospitality

Не понравилось The only issue we had, which we were aware of while booking site,
Not being allowed to leave our two black labradors in the static caravan on their own, so me and the wife could go out without them, one of our dogs is 13 years old and she’s an old girl, that is starting to struggle to walk,
But we totally understood this before booking, and totally understand the rules,
So it’s not a dislike, or complaint,
Although while dogs are well-behaved,
Many people’s dogs are not,

От менеджера: Thanks for your review, we are so pleased you had a good break in Wilerby Lodge. How lovely that you got to Mathewsons in Thornton Dale, a lovely village with a thatched cottage and river running by. Thornton is also famous for its Christmas lights, switch on is early December .

We do sometimes have familes with children on site and whilst we don't have a playpark or games to play they tend to bring things with them and we are pleased to welcome them.

Понравилось Lovely campsite for a quiet get away. Well run and maintained. Nice walk into the village via a private footpath.

Great dog walking area if you have dogs.

I definitely would stay here again.
