Rockbridge Park

Gostou Fantastic quality site. Extremely well laid out. Very friendly staff. The dome for star gazing was amazing. One of the best sites we have been to apart from location.

Não gostou A 20 minute walk through fields in to town. Very limited eateries in town. 3* rating for location as we have a campervan that we pitch up and look to use local transport. This site would suit someone with a car and caravan better.

Gostou Excellent facilities, very clean and well organised. Very quiet. Really enjoyed going into Prestiegne. Would recommend

Gostou The site is lovely and maintained well. The toilets and shower block was very clean. Great location with pathways to explore into the town. The star dome was very impressive.

Não gostou Could do with a bistro or bar for snacks and goodies.

We would love to have a bar or bistro on site but we like to support the local town and not loose what we have there. We are looking at other options though so watch this space.

Gostou Lovely peaceful site which was well maintained. Perfectly flat grass pitch which was ideal for our tent box. The welcome pack was thoughtful and we used it to walk to the local town.

Não gostou The star gazing dome was a wonderful idea, however we took the kids up at 11pm - it was a beautifully clear night but we couldn’t get the telescope to work. Two other families joined us and had the same issue so we left here disappointed. There is a laminated sheet with the telescope which shows the labelled dials - not sure if it’s faulty or needs better instructions.

We have removed the telescope from the dome at the moment, it is available to borrow but we are then able to talk people through how to use the telescope. When you find the moon it is phenomenal.

Gostou Beautiful site lovely welcome from the young lady and gent at reception, great touch giving out tennis balls to dogs on arrival they loved playing with them in the designated off leash area. Quiet and peaceful just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Had a lovely stream running through the site where the dogs had a dip after going on long walks. Our pitch was a great size good space between other pitches. Would highly recommend walks “ water break it’s neck” and “ Llandrindod wells” the scenery was spectacular.

Trying hard to be eco friendly
Gave lots of useful information upon arrival

Não gostou Small thing - A lot of bright lights on electric points at night - seems unnecessary (especially given the dark skies status)

Gostou Great site with good sized pitches.
There was stunning scenery all round, site was lovely and peaceful despite being a busy bank holiday weekend. Only noise regularly heard was the cows!
Everywhere was lovely and clean at all times.

Check in was quick and the team had lots of information to share. They gave us a welcome packed filled with things to do, see and information/history on the local area, lovely touches.

Would definitely recommend!

Gostou Pitch space. Care of land. Wash rooms clean at all times. Organisation of recycling. Helpful and friendly staff.
Most guests were clean, tidy & respectful regarding noise in the evening.

Não gostou One visitor with 2 small dogs frequently had dog off lead & it ended up in other people’s tents etc. Not all people are comfortable with dogs of any size.
People flashing lights outside of statics or caravan / tent.
