Llain Ffynnon Camping

Gostou Large spacious campsite where you can pitch anywhere. Clean facilities which consisted of 3 toilets and 4 portaloos. Stunning views. Close (a short drive) to church bay which was perfect for a sunny day on the beach.

Gostou The owners are lovely, it's a well looked after camp site, very relaxed and friendly. The facilities are as clean as can be during busy time of year. Definitely would recommend.

The site is a bit busy but obviously that's going to be dependent on what time of year you're here. Lots of kids and dogs running around which you would expect but may not be to everyone's preference. But it was fine for us with a reactive rescue dog as we were out most of the day and were only really on site to eat and sleep!

We only stayed for a night so didn't end up using the showers so I couldn't comment on those.

Very close to Church Bay and local pub! 20 minute walk but it is uphill on the way back so could take longer for those who need a bit more time.

Não gostou It's an open site so pitch wherever you can as there aren't designated spaces however because the site is on the side of a hill it may be harder to find larger level spaces for bigger groups to camp together. Definitely bring levelling blocks for any cars with roof tents etc.

Lots of dogs and kids running around which may not be to everyone's taste and obviously is going to be dependent on the time of year as well. I wouldn't say it's a big enough camp site to completely avoid those if that is your preference.

Having running water on a campsite is a privilege but we did hear some people struggled with the water pressure in the showers if other people are using the washing facilities or drinking water tap. Makes sense but may be of note to some people to save showering for the quieter times of the day. Rose early to do our washing up and it was no issue at all.

Gostou lots of space, nice view

Não gostou only one shower with cold water, one sink for washing dishes. This is not enough for 150-200 people at the same time

Não gostou Not really a dislike but as it was peak summer if everyone was trying to wash up, shower, use the toilet etc. the water flow/pressure would really struggle.

Gostou The people who run the campsite were helpful and friendly. Many times they would stop and have a friendly chat. The facilitys were small but very well kept. Because they were going to be busy on the weekend they hired more toilets which is really attentive and they obviously care.

Gostou Location is fantastic. Really good views, not to far of a walk to the village (~40 mins). Low cost

Não gostou Facilities very lacking. They were clean, but only 2 showers, 2 sinks and 7 toilets (4 of which were portaloos). Campsite is busy so there was always a queue. Probably more suited to camper and or motorhomes not tents

Não gostou Far to busy and people turning up at daft o clock expecting to get a sea view . Parking in front of each other , reminded me of shell island in the old days.

Gostou There was plenty of room for everyone. We had a chance to see nice sunset as well as a sunrise. Facilities were in good condition-enough for basic needs.

Não gostou WiFi was not working for us but to be honest it was even better not to be on the phone .

Gostou Wonderful site with outstanding views all around. Clean, well maintained toilet and shower facilities.

Não gostou Not really a dislike but hot water would be a bonus.
