Barley Meadow Touring Park

Gostou Lovely little site which is very pretty and superbly well looked after. Shower block is clean and modern and includes a washing up area. Has a communal room with pool table etc. The fenced dog walking area on site was ideal and the benches to sit on in it were a nice touch. Shop stocks a selection of food and drink and also a good range of travel accessories.

Não gostou A little bit of road noise but absolutely not an issue as it’s not a busy road.

Gostou Very clean, lots of amenities, dog park is a great addition as are the picnic benches, overall really great place

Não gostou If I had to put anything it would be that there is nothing in walking distance (other than the farm shop) but this didn’t effect our stay

You can walk from the campsite to the local community pub The Drewe Arms on your way to Castle Drogo and Fingle Bridge. However we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. Gostou Lovely quiet campsite. Pitches are flat with own services. Leigh and David are very welcoming and always available if needed. The 'Bovey ' is a great little room with games, books and a free to play pool table. The on-site shop is small but stocks alot more camping /caravan necessary items than other sites especially if needed in a emergency ie pegs, ties even water pumps. Shower and toilet areas are very clean. Good fenced off dog area even though we don't have a dog. Location is central so easy to visit and explore Devon. WiFi is free and a good signal

Não gostou Shower could run longer than they do as only push button type and take along time to get warm, you do have to waste alot of water before it's warm. There is a bit of road noise if you're pitched road side of the site but it didn't bother us

Gostou This site is lovely, well laid out, great views and the toilet block is superb. It's well placed for touring round, and very easy to get to. There is a farm shop that's a 1 minute walk across a field, but it is no longer a cafe.

Não gostou This isn't a dislike but when we were there the reception was always closed. The owner was never far away and helped us with some suggestions on eating out, but we would probably have popped in and bought a few things if it looked more open.

Gostou Everything, the sites was immaculate, the pitches were of a good size and well tended, overall very nice site.

Não gostou Only one small thing was the addition of some extra low level lighting for pathways at night

Gostou Superb camp site, quiet and very clean. Pitches are large enough with a well stocked camp shop. EV charging on site at a good rate too. Perfectly positioned on the edge of Dartmoor.

Gostou The pitch was a nice size and not to close to others
Toilets/showers was clean
The Booth was a nice idea
Owners was friendly

The pitch felt a bit isolated ..We like to socialise if possible...
