Woof. That’s your dog telling you to book a long, long Lingfield stay: the pitches at family-run Long Acres Caravan and Camping Park are pet-friendly (although there is a small extra fee for man’s best friend) – and there are lots of options for walkies in the surrounding Surrey countryside too. Whether you plan to use Long Acres to walk the dog (or be walked by the dog) or as a base to see the attractions of Surrey, human campers are also in for a treat at this friendly, well-maintained park. There’s a well-stocked tourist information kiosk, firepits to hire, and three spotless centrally heated toilet and shower blocks. For food, Lingfield village – with its shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets – is a mile away. The High Weald National Landscape is a short drive south of the site, and the Surrey Hills National Landscape is a 10-minute drive to the north. Don’t lose your head with the huge range of historical highlights in the area either, starting with 13th-century Hever Castle & Gardens (20 minutes' drive), the childhood home of Anne Boleyn (boo to Henry Eighth) and with award-winning gardens, water maze with a mind of its own and what will probably be the fave of the kids – a 13th-century gatehouse with historical instruments of execution and torture.

Gostou The Hayfield pitch. Lovely wild flowers. Quiet area. Lovely sounds of nature.Reception man and woman very accommodating, friendly helpful and welcoming.

Não gostou 50p for a shower. It's better to include in the price as seems a bit tight charging for a shower.

Gostou Loved the pitch size and the feel lovely little camp site . The staff were friendly. The bar is a nice touch. The grandkids will love the planes that go over head .

Não gostou The track to get to the pitch as it was raining and the ground was water loged . And that the toilets were quite a long way .

Não gostou Plane noise when you’ve forgotten your ear plugs and all you want to do is sleep. Totally not the fault of the owners though and certainly wouldn’t put me off.
I didn’t see any staff. Not that I needed any though, no problems.

Gostou This was a fantastic camp site, we had a wonderful visit. The shower and toilet block was well maintained. The communication received beforehand was fantastic. The only thing to note was on PitchUp it claimed a shower was 50p for 12 minutes, but it was actually only 8 minutes. No big deal though, it was still more than enough time. The kids enjoyed the play area also.

Não gostou Only dislike was the fact the site is under the Gatwick flight path but we knew that going in and nothing the site can control.

Gostou Facilities were cleaned very well kept. Park was great for the children, lots of nature and wildlife, great options for extra offers with the pop up sauna / ice pool and the bar. Staff were really friendly and informative.

Não gostou Toilets were quite a walk from the pitch
Quite small openings to pitches a bit tricky to navigate with a trailer.
