Gostou Quiet, civilised. Deep lake for swimming, so no children. Really wonderful view from tent over lake to the hills. Wonderful.

Gostou We really enjoyed this site. It has a very scenic view of the rolling hills with a very well maintained fishing lake (it is not a pond!) that is also used for wild swimming.
Facilities block was very clean tidy.
There is a massive dog area field out the back where you can let your
Dog have a run off the lead.
TV reception was good but our phone reception (o2) was not great, but the site offers a strong wifi connection at a very reasonable rates - there are different packages, but we paid £2 a day which was well worth it for the quality of wifi.

Gostou Very well kept site and a beautiful view of the lake and rolling hills. The owner pip was very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay, will be back. You can book to swim in the lake which is very pleasant and well maintained also. Jane gives it 10/10

Gostou The campsite has a beautiful quiet countryside setting and we were lucky to get a pitch with a lovely view of the small lake, where we could relax and watch the birds. The site is beautifully maintained and there is a friendly welcome.

The toilets are very clean, the ladies showers are a little bit basic (I hear the men's are better!) but all ok.

Gostou Stunning views all around, really out of the way and peaceful. Very clean toilet/shower facility. Lots of wildlife all around you (including a family of geese!)

Não gostou This camping site was noisy all day long and even at night making it hard to sleep. If you have sensory issues, avoid.
The women's showers had those awful showers you have to keep pressing every few seconds. The water pressure was terrible, I spent ages trying to get cleaned. The worse is the men's bathroom had a proper shower with a detachable head and temperature control on top of proper liquid hand soap.

The lake is more of large pond. That was disappointing. The water fountain in the middle was noisy. The view was marred by campervans surrounding the whole site.

Do gerente: As management we would like to highlight that this review is not a true reflection of Burhope Farm Campsite.

Regarding the noise, other guests staying this same weekend made the following comment on a recent review ''I have never stopped anywere before on a bank holiday weekend where you could here a pin drop.'' (quote taken directly from the customers review).

With regards to your comments about the lake, we are starting to offer wild swimming which would not be possible if the lake was just 'a large pond'. The water fountain is not overly noisy, we have never received any complaints about this before, many guests actually say the opposite and enjoy the peaceful sounds of water flowing, the fountain is also switched off every evening until morning.

Finally noting your comment on the views, whilst there are of course campervans on site (we are a campsite?) our site boasts 360 views of the rolling Herefordshire hills, views that our guests often comment on.

We would like to point out that there are a number of reviews both above and below this one where guests had stayed the same weekend, all of which are completely positive and none mention the noise (in fact they state the opposite). We would also like to note that the views and the peacefulness of the site are factors that we often receive comments on and are some of the many reasons that many of our guests are returning customers.

We are sorry that you feel this way.
