In a first for holiday park owners and managers, leading camping and caravanning website www.pitchup.com has launched a host of new benchmarking features to help monitor their success with consumers on the website, and to track the number of click-throughs to their own websites.
Pitchup.com has made major enhancements to its manager’s portal, where holiday parks can enter information to make their free listing as informative and attractive to potential holidaymakers as possible.
Features of the new Pitchup.com ‘dashboard’ include:
- Ranking – shows how popular the campsite’s page is out of 5,000 sites listed
- Visits - shows the number of visits to the campsite’s page on Pitchup.com
- Click-through rate – for holiday parks that have listed a web address on Pitchup.com, shows what proportion of visitors clicked through versus the average
- Percentage complete – shows owners / managers how complete their site profile is and prompts them to add missing components
Daniel Yates, Managing Director, Pitchup.com, says that now is the perfect time for holiday park owners and managers to update their listings and ensure all information is readily visible to prospective customers in time for summer.
