Polubione We (2 friends) stayed in the Horsebox as a base for hiking Tryfan North Ridge and it was perfect. We used both the main bed and the pull out sofa bed and it worked perfectly. The horsebox had everything we could possibly need and the hot tub was delightful.
The area is so quiet and peaceful and we particularly enjoyed sitting watching the alpacas and sheep enjoy life in the field. Clair and Phil very kindly took us on a tour of the site before we left and introduced us to all the animals. Great stay and we will definitely be back.

Polubione Beautiful campsite and fantastic facilities with the shower and toilet cleaned daily! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the best campsite we have been to so far. Great areas to explore all around and the most friendly and welcoming owners that made you feel like nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning!

With that in mind, I do wish you had reached out to us during your stay regarding the issues you encountered. We most defiantly do have drinking water!! I would have hoped you might have called us if you were unable to locate this. I did point out its location during our tour, but perhaps that was lost in translation Im sorry about that.

I’m also sorry to hear that you struggled with the shower temperature. I can assure you that it provides hot water for as long as needed and is not on a timer. We would have been more than happy to come and assist if you had contacted us, as nobody enjoys a cold shower! Since receiving your review, I have checked it out and can confirm that it is working just fine, the temperature just needs moving slowly.

As stated in our site details, each camping pitch private toilets are eco-friendly composting ones. We alternate between sawdust and dry grass which is the most effective process and empty them daily. Again, I would have been happy to provide sawdust if that was your preference over the dry grass supplied.

It’s a shame that these issues weren’t brought to our attention during your stay, as they could all have been resolved with a quick phone call. I’m so sorry we didn’t have the opportunity to rectify them for you which we would have done gladly.

Lastly... being in the beautiful rural foothills of Snowdonia the wifi quality depends on your provider. Where some people comment that they can stream films, other people can’t sadly, we have no control over this sadly.

Polubione Clair and Phil the hosts were lovely and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble! Loved the welcome hamper. We had some minor queries and they sorted things straightaway. Loved the cosy geodome. The facilities were excellent and only 15 mins from the beach. Highlight was a tour of the site and the kids loved feeding the alpacas, sheep, pigs and chickens! Loved being able to have a campfire. The toilet / shower was very clean and decorated nicely. Beds very comfy and loads of blankets available. Feee eggs from the chickens a lovely touch. Free games for the kids available.

Polubione Peaceful with wonderful views of the hills.
You get your own pitch that comes with a picnic table, fire pit and toilet. There is an honesty shop that has everything in there that you could need.
Also a shower that works very well. Very clean and well kept.
I would absolutely recommend this campsite to anyone...the sunsets are fantastic!
Clair and Phil are a wonderful accommodating couple...friendly and tell you everything you need to know about the place.
We are definitely coming back here again this summer!

Polubione Lots of room in wonderful rustic setting with a few comforts thrown in to make you feel at home. Clair and Phil were fantastic, welcoming hosts. Green camping with a touch of comfort.

Polubione Spacious pitch, warm welcome, friendly and accommodating owners and STUNNING views. Perfectly clean, quiet, lovely little shop with local sausages and bacon, eggs from very local chickens it was all perfect. Some animals on site as well which made our morning walk round the site extra special.

Polubione Quiet, peaceful campsite with spacious pitches with your own compost toilet and sink which was cleaned daily. The washing up and shower facilities were also spotless and the communal sinks had hot water which was lovely. The honesty shop had everything you might have forgotten and there was a fridge, freezer and plug sockets available too.

Clair and Pete were lovely - super helpful and very responsive. We had a couple of tiny issues with facilities and they responded immediately which meant the issues had no impact on our stay.

Good location, close to Conwy and other towns.
