Polubione Quiet, off grid site. Wasn't busy, so had plenty of choice where to park up.
Even though there is easy access to the town centre it felt like you were in the middle of the countryside.
Eglinton country park next to it provided a nice walk, access to toilets, and a cafe before we headed off.
A very relaxing stopover.

Facilities and activities? It is a of grid campsite in a country park with many miles of walks a castle, lake,visitors Center, cafe and toilets and two beaches and a large town Center all within ten minutes drive.
WiFi we do not have WiFi on site we have to assume you are referring to your mobile data ? We have full network coverage on site it is possible it may be an issue with your service provider or handset.

We understand that the survey form is not specific to any site and everybody has their own perceptions however we feel the description of our site is accurate and that some of your scores are not justified

Polubione Absolutely gorgeous place to wild camp. Lovely places to park the campervan with fresh cut green grass. It's amongst the trees so you won't feel the cold in the evening and it's gonna keep dry until late in the night. There's a firepit and plenty of wood around to use. The owners are great people with which we had a long chat until late in the evening. Will visit again for sure

Polubione It was quirky, loved the trees, the firepit, bee hives, twinkly lights. I liked the nod to health and safety with fire extinguishers. It was quiet at night. The owner telephoned to check we had got there ok. Only 15 mins from ardrossen ferry terminal. Id go again, it was lovely. Pitches well spaced out.

Niepolubione We arrived in the dark and i couldnt see any signs or where the pitches were, i half expected to wake up on someones front garden!

Polubione Exactly as described in the site listing - we stayed for one night in our self-contained campervan and really enjoyed it!
We had a welcoming call from the owner Susan the evening we arrived to let us know about the site and check that we'd found it OK. This is a lovely site in an area of quiet woodland, a short 10minute walk into the country park which is great for dog walks! Really glad we came across this camp site and would definitely return if we're in the area again

Polubione Can't really give an honest review as I didn't stay. Pulled on site and saw how small it was. Doesn't look like that on the pictures.
I thought it was more spread out, but all spaces are really ontop of each other, no privacy at all. It's like a communal space. Not for me.

Od administratora: Hi Kate thanks for your review we are a bit baffled by your description there are eight pitches all marked with stumps we only use four pitches which gives people the option to be close together or spread out depending on your preference.
The site is an acre in size so not small as you describe.
We have checked the wording on the advert there is no description on how far apart the pitches are however there are plenty of comments on the reviews regarding the size and space.
It’s a pity you didn’t call us to clarify as we are absolutely baffled about your comments considering you were the only booking for that night and had the site to yourself ???

Polubione Brilliant site for our first night away in our campervan.
Chatted to Stuart and Susan who own the site and got lots of good advice from them.
Site was perfect for our first night away, loved the communal campfire and site is set in stunning surroundings with beautiful walks all round, will definitely be back x

Od administratora: Thank you for your review may we point out a few things the site is not manky it is of grid campervan parking in a small forest surrounding we were on site on Sunday prior to your visit there was no rubbish on site.
You obviously consider a live forest to be manky you may be better booking something like center parks rather than of grid
It is obvious you have not read the advert.
We do not accommodate tents or tent boxes for you to assess the site from your car is ludicrous please see our reviews that have been posted by previous visitors.
