Dowlais Farm Holidays

Polubione Huge pitches. Lovely site. Close to the sea front ( a 10 min walk) plenty of cycle routes and running routes. A bus straight to Bristol at the top of the road. Logs for a fire if needed. Great showers. Clean and relaxing. Compost toilet was fun. We had a brilliant stay.

Niepolubione Nothing. We loved it all.

Polubione Peaceful but some road noise from adjacent road but nothing disturbing, lots of friendly cyclists and walkers using the road nice to say hello to over the hedge.
Very friendly staff. Bit concerned about the compostable toilets but had a chat with the owner and he gave me a good explanation and I have to agree they were clean and not smelly.

Niepolubione Nothing too dislike for myself and dogs and my daughter who was staying in a local hotel wants to stay in the glamping next time.

Polubione Small campsite with 6 pitches and close to coastal path for a stroll into Clevedon, the “green” toilets were a bit of a surprise on first visit, but all was cleaned and tidy . Hot showers too.

Polubione A beautiful flat Orchard site that's never overcrowded. Plenty of hot water in the showers and for washing up. Extremely clean compost toilets, very well looked after by the owners. It's a very peaceful site with lots of wildlife to see and hear. Beautiful walks with a dog or on a bicycle, easy walk to Clevedon seafront via the coastal path. Overall a lovely, welcoming place to stay.

Polubione Spacious pitches amongst the apple trees.
There are only 6 pitches so it's quiet.
It's Walking distance to the beach and to Clevedon.

Niepolubione The washing facilities are not well sheltered from wind and rain.

We assume that the washing area you refer to is the face/handwash station to the left of the showers and have never had any comments like this regarding this area before. We will see if we can do something to improve it!

Thank you so much for your review, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We are very sorry about the issue with another campers dog and our rules clearly state that all dogs must be kept on leads in our campsite so this really should not have happened. We have taken extra steps today to reiterate the rule by installing a large notice within our message board in the orchard. We really want everyone who comes to have the most peaceful and positive experience and hope to be able to welcome you back.

Polubione Showers excellent, location peaceful, wash up great, recycling convenient, toilets functional and lit with hand washing too.
Clevedon is great with its own pier and 14m tide. Lots of places to walk, eat and drink.

Polubione Such a peaceful, well supplied campsite with only 6x pitches. The facilities are amazing - better showers than even larger campsites I've visited. The hosts are so welcoming and really make you feel at home. The orchard is absolutely stunning! This is the best campsite I have ever visited.
