Polubione I absolutely loved this site, felt very welcome the minute I arrived, owner was such a welcoming host.
It had everything I needed, clean toilets, hot showers, a food van, the view from the site is absolutely epic.
All done in a very low impact way on the surrounding environment.
Straight on to the costal path, will 100% revisit and definitely for longer next time.

Polubione A fantastic site.
Told to help ourselves to where ever we wanted to pitch on arrival so we picked the bottom field with beautiful views onto the coastline .
Walked to local village and had a beer before walking back alone the coast path and having a bbq beside our van.
Toilets where very clean compost toilets .
Along with showers and washing up area.
Really enjoyed the stay and very friendly owner made us feel at home

Polubione Beautiful location over looking the sea, easy access to the coast path and a cafe van on site. Hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming giving us an excellent spot to pitch up. They even helped jump start our car after the battery died. Full phone signal on site.

Polubione We love it here! This was our second time staying here as we loved it so much last year. The views are spectacular from the campsite, I could have spent all day sat at the campsite watch the shops come and go. It's spacious and even when busy there is plenty of space to pitch and run around. We visited as a family and it was perfect for them. The location is ideal; the coast path runs right past the campsite, we walked to Cadgwith via the devil's frying pan, we would have done more but were limited by our children's little legs. Composting toilets aren't for everyone but we like everything to be as eco friendly as possible. The showers were good for outdoor ones. The hot water for washing up was a bit hit and miss but the hosts Will and Cathy were always around if we needed anything and would have fixed it if we'd brought it up. The food van was also a godsend for a decent coffee in the morning! 😆

Niepolubione Not much to dislike, great views, good amenities and friendly hosts, we love the whole ethos of the eco friendly side of things. Just be warned it is back to basics with compost toilets and gas powered showers.

Polubione I wanted a night away locally in the van, time to unwind and switch off. What a perfect campsite.

Lovely hosts, welcoming and helpful. The site is lovely, cared for, plenty of space between pitches, with great views, and It felt comfortable as a solo female.

The compost loos were very clean also hot water available for a shower and washing up, simple, basic but all you need.

Loved the catering van offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I enjoyed a great pizza and the coffee was good too.

I will certainly recommend and visit again.

Polubione Will and Cathy the owners are just lovely, their little ones are polite and really well behaved and the dogs are cuddled bunnies what more in a way of a welcome could you ask for.
As for the site, spread over several fields there is loads of space, a far cry from some of the campsites that feel like carparks. The pitch was nice and level, Views are spectacular. Great quiet nights sleep.
Then icing on the cake was the full English cooked up by Will's fair hands in the onsite catering van.
The access is typically Cornish so be prepared to breath in, and remember, adventure lines prove you are using your van properly and t-cut was invented for a reason
I'm pretty certain I'll be back before too long

Polubione Last week we went off-grid (and slightly off our rockers) and camped at Cadgwith Campsite in the Lizard, Cornwall… and let me tell you, it was gloriously basic in the best possible way.

Think: breathtaking coastal views, fresh sea air, and… al fresco pooping. That’s right, this isn’t your average campsite with tiled washrooms and hairdryers. No sir. This is back-to-nature, birdsong-in-the-bushes, toilet-with-a-sky-roof kind of camping. If you’ve never done your business while admiring the Cornish countryside cows moo-ing in the distance, you’re missing out on one of life’s more humbling (and breezy) experiences.

The hosts? Absolute gems. Friendly, helpful, and so chilled they probably butter their crumpets with sea breeze. Warm showers were available (and surprisingly wonderful), and the whole place had a vibe that screamed: “relax, you’re on Earth’s edge now.”

There’s a catering van on-site, run by the hosts themselves, and oh my word, it’s a game-changer. Think rich, proper coffee, belly-hugging breakfasts, and tasty bites all at very reasonable prices. After a night under canvas and a dawn wake-up call from the local cow choir, that first coffee hits like a spiritual awakening.

The views were so beautiful and the lull of the ocean was enough to lull you to sleep. The cliffs, green rolling hills, and stunning buildings in the distance, it’s like camping inside a postcard.

And then there was The Night of the Shanty. We ventured along the coastal path (read: heroic cliffside stumble) to the Cadgwith Cove Inn, where the beer flowed, the sea shanty singers roared, and we may or may not have joined in on a chorus despite knowing only 0% of the lyrics and 0% of the pitch. The return hike under the stars was part adventure, part survival exercise. Worth every misplaced footstep.
Make sure you take a torch!

If you’re after glamping, this ain’t it. But if you like your camping real, raw, and just a little ridiculous, Cadgwith Camping is your new happy place.

This site does not have wifi but we didn’t struggle with cellular signal! Which was a bonus on the days that the weather was abit gloomy!

Highly recommend – bring your own torch, a healthy respect for walking to make most of the scenery, and leave your dignity at the gate. 🏕️💩🌿☕🍳🎶🍻
