What customers say
Awesome sea views & chill vibes. Owners super friendly, facilities clean (hot showers!), and handy for the coast path. Food van's a bonus. A bit "back to basics" for some, but most loved it and are coming back!

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
Our showers and toilets are intentionally simple and eco-friendly. Our aim is to provide a low-impact experience, crucially, without permanently altering the field with extensive infrastructure or hardstanding facilities. This approach helps us preserve the natural environment that many of our guests come to enjoy.
We appreciate that this style of camping isn't for everyone, which is why we try to describe our facilities clearly in our listing before booking. We would encourage future guests to read the site description carefully to make sure our campsite matches their expectations.
While there is no Wifi, we do get 5G coverage throughout the site.
Wonderful hidden gem of a campsite!
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site
Liked Fantastic location with lovely sea views. Relaxed, peaceful, chilled. Food van. Welcoming owners. Lovely warm water at sinks and showers. Toilets are well looked after. Composting loos are definitely preferable to chemical ones! Adored the care for wildlife the owners are taking.

I would 100% come here again, amazing hosts & amazing views
Unpowered grass tent site (backpacker, no cars)
Liked - Hosts/owners were amazing. Really polite, friendly & helpful
- views were absolutely stunning, amazing location
- food van onsite is a bonus. Really handy and you are able to charge your phones with is great
- Large site so plenty of space
- Area itself is lovely. Nice walks, stunning views and a really cute village not far away
Disliked Only thing we didn't love were the toilets/showers, it's not a massive issue but i will have preferred more modernised toilets/shower.
Another recommendation would be an area for kids either a mini play area or something of the sort but overall there wasn't anything we really didn't like

From the manager: Hi Jasmin, thank you for your lovely review :) We thought we should clarify the reason we do not modernise our showers and toilets & it's fundamental to our ethos.
Our campsite is intentionally very much "back to basics." As working farmers, caring for the land is at the heart of everything we do. The campsite is located in one of our grazing cow meadows, and we've deliberately chosen not to develop it with permanent infrastructure because sustainable farming, protecting biodiversity, and preserving the natural landscape are our priorities. By keeping the field as natural as possible, we can support wildlife, improve soil health, and continue farming in a way that works with nature rather than against it.
Our simple facilities (we built them ourselves ) are a conscious choice to minimise our environmental impact. Our composting toilets reduce waste and avoid the need for extensive drainage systems that would permanently alter the field.
All the best, Cathy & Will.
