Polubione Really clean and picturesque area. Very quiet and away from busy roads. The toilets and washing up area were also very clean and well maintained. Loved the visits from the sheep aswell!!

Polubione Thoroughly enjoyed our camping trip. Facilities were excellent as were the hosts of the site. Shout out to Daniel who does regular checks to make sure everyone is safe and happy.
The pizza on Friday night was very good and the cafe very welcoming. Tip.. if your looking for quirky craft items like a beautifully made sheep or cow footstool, this is the place to buy one ( all have individualised names).perfect gift and I will certainly be returning to collect one.
Shower block is a short walk up by the farm, but very spacious and well set out. Water is “hot” and we showered at various times.
Overall this is a beautiful well looked after rustic site .
Literally opposite the farm is a fabulous pub “ Yew Tree”, this is one of the most accommodating pubs we have had the pleasure to eat and drink in.. another shout out to the staff who were should be highly valued, they make the place come alive.

Polubione The camping is beautiful, views are absolutely amazing, everything was spotless.
The small giftshop / coffee shop was nice too, we have also enjoyed the Friday pizza.
It was lovely to meet the family, so see Mabel catching the chickens and the little one playing with her parents and her older sister.
Decoration on the barn / coffee shop / barn is so beautiful
Fantastic service.

Polubione Four tents and an air shelter pitched up next to the river. Really quiet site, very peaceful, just what we needed. Toilets were clean. Owner was great, Yew Tree is a good pub around the corner, gets booked quickly.

Would definitely come back in the summer. Great location for walks/Keswick.
The Pizzas on site (On a Friday) are excellent. We had the Herdwick Lamb, very very tasty, price was great too

Polubione The campsite is in an absolutely beautiful setting, the area and facilities were kept clean and tidy, everyone was friendly, it’s a great spot for climbing Scafell Pike from Seathwaite, I had good 4G with Vodafone, loved that I could bring my dog with me and although I didn’t go to the pub it is only a 4-5 minute walk away so the option was there and I heard good reviews of it.

Niepolubione The showers were warm and were kept clean which is great but travelling with a dog made it a bit difficult to use these as they are a 5 minute walk away so I couldn’t leave him at the site to go, and the car park is £6 to park which isn’t great. I think this is only really a challenge for a solo traveller with a dog, otherwise I can’t see it why it would be an issue.
The setting was absolutely stunning but it’s quite far from any shops - I had to drive roughly 25-30 minutes into Keswick each day to top up the ice in my cool box. This wasn’t really a big issue as the drive is so beautiful anyway but just something to be aware of.
The van pitches aren’t flat and I almost got stuck trying to drive into one as the ground was quite wet so my wheels were just spinning. They have put down a grippy matting in some areas which definitely helped.

Polubione The view were amazing. The facilities were cleaned daily and Daniel would come everyday to make sure everyone was okay and help if we needed anything. 20 minute drive to Keswick with beautiful views on the way. Lots of opportunities for walks and exploring

Polubione Superb location- we didn’t use the car during four days of spectacular hill walking.
Clean, spacious, private feeling and quiet pitches. Clean, simple pot washing and bathroom/toilet block. Showers clean too - a bit of a walk up to and along the road - but hot and welcome. Rarely had to wait and well signposted.
Bus (77 and 78) to Keswick stops just near showers - handy for linear routes.
Yurts looked nice too. Hope to be back soon.

Pizza advertised but was cancelled and we didn’t know until we had arrived ( had to then drive 30 mins to the nearest shop, little disappointed)

Shop was not open whilst we were there which was also disappointing and apparently due to the site “not being very busy “

The use of people having BBQ / fire pits when there is fire ban currently.

Pitch 1 - sadly when we arrived was the only one left and it was next to the bins and toilets / washing up - very noisy and people have no respect.

The peace & quiet after 10pm was non existent and I had to call the hosts as the disruption went on until midnight, then woken up at 6am from people washing up, and slamming doors / bins , which was not the most ideal situation and a shame people are not mindful of others.

Pitch was also not very even/ level and quite stoney.

Site was very small in person compared to pitch up.

Book a pub meal before your stay ( no takeaways and limited availability as fully booked. Nearest shop is 20-30 mins away.
