Beat a retreat from your workaday cares at Berrends Farm Caravan and Camp Site, a well-maintained spot close to where the Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire borders meet. With spacious pitches, quiet orchard surrounds and easy access to the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty all sorted, all that remains is for you to pack up your kit and drive over here – a task made splendidly straightforward by the fact that this site's a mere five-minute drive from the speedy M50. Once you've pulled up at this rural spot, you could spend days cloud-gazing in the orchard, tramping through the Malvern Hills (perhaps with a dog or two in tow) or visiting cathedral cities like Gloucester (30 minutes' drive) and Worcester (35 minutes). After jam-packed sightseeing jaunts (or days of nothing but sweet repose…), hungry stomachs can be satisfied with a barbecue on site or treated to chef-cooked grub at the nearest pub (40 minutes on foot or a five-minute drive). Provisions for self-prepped meals can be picked up in nearby Ledbury (15 minutes). As is expected when staying at a small-scale farm, here you can expect peace, quiet and splendid views, but you won't come back to base to find a chocolate on your pillow. Berrends Farm Caravan and Camp Site is relatively low on frills, but key facilities like composting toilets, showers and a washing-up area are all on hand.

Polubione Everything. The location, the simplicity, people were so friendly!
Our two girls, 4 & 2 loved having the animals so close. Both were able to stoke the different animals. Lovely touch of selling sausages and eggs in the morning.
All facilities were kept to a high standard.

Niepolubione Slight downside as we pitched close to entrance having three small children the footfall was at times slightly more noisy that we would have liked. However no one’s fault. Just we didn’t think when agreeing to that particular pitch. Next time will ask to be further in.

Polubione What a weekend absolutely loved the site.. Everything we needed was there...Camping on a working farm and got to see the animals.. The site was lovely.. Owners were polite we even bought produce from them.. Special mention to jen she looked tired from working but was a lovely lady.. The m50 wasn't a problem like previous reviews...would I go back? Hell yes and can't wait to return btw pizza's during busy times a good idea. 😉

Niepolubione Had so little time and break went fast.. Pubs a good walk but a car really is needed being no paths on the roads.. In no way should this be a dislike to the campsite

Henri's Hut chata pasterska

Polubione Henri’s shepherds hut was lovely, and well thought out for the space available. It was clean. The outdoor space was good. The toilet/ shower/ washing facilities were really close.
We especially liked the friendly atmosphere on the site. The owner was really engaging and offered us a free firepit and coals.
It was great value for money.
Additionally it was a great base for the Malvern’s and site seeing.

Polubione Lovely and peaceful friendly atmosphere, amount of toilet facilities and the simple but easy recycling system.

Niepolubione One toilet room seems to have a rotten floor so when you sit on the toilet it feels as though you are sinking through the floor.

Polubione We’ve just had the most wonderful stay at Berrend Farm, and it honestly exceeded our expectations in every way. The pitches are fantastic – actually larger than stated on PitchUp – and most are perfectly flat, making it easy to get level without fuss. All are grass pitches, and most have power, which was a huge plus.

The grounds are kept absolutely immaculate, with the added bonus of beautiful fruit trees you can forage from. It was such a lovely, natural touch. Every fellow camper we met was warm and friendly, and the owners/managers were just as lovely – genuinely welcoming and relaxed, which set the tone for our whole stay.

Some reviews had mentioned M50 noise, but we can honestly say we didn’t notice it at all. It was perfectly peaceful, which made for such a chilled atmosphere.

Facilities were spotless and functional: washrooms, showers, and washing-up areas were all well maintained, with plenty of hot water and good shower pressure. Waste disposal is well organised with separate tubs and bins for recycling, and although there is chemical waste disposal available, we didn’t need to use it because the WC facilities were so good and close to all pitches.

We left feeling truly refreshed and at home. A huge thank you to Berrend Farm for such a perfect getaway – we will definitely be back!

We have marketed the pitches out at 8 mtrs some pitches are 8 by 13mtrs. That said they are a minimum of 8x8

Polubione Picked this site as it’s not far from home to see what my Grandson thought about sleeping in a camper van. The site is great, has everything you need, toilets, showers, water and electric. It’s on a farm with calves, pigs and goats which children love. I phoned when I arrived at the site and was met by a lovely lady who showed me where to pitch. Would highly recommend this site if you are after somewhere that’s small, friendly and fab for switching off.

Set out for a recce of the Malvern Hills (five minutes' drive) and it shouldn't take long to find a spot to stretch your legs. Hollybush car park (10 minutes) is a pretty good place to start – here there are two scenic circular trails that can also be walked as a figure of eight if you're feeling energetic. It’s also half an hour to Symonds Yat for kayaking on the Wye, climbing and seeking out the peregrine falcons, goshawks and other raptors that breed on top of the rock. The Gloucester branch of the National Waterways Museum (30 minutes) is within a comfortable distance too if you'd prefer interactive exhibits and a narrowboat cruise. You'll likely want to be outdoors as much as poss when in these parts, so earmark some time for visits to Eastnor (10 minutes) and Goodrich castles (25 minutes). Trips over the border into Wales should also be on your radar if you're tempted to explore the overgrown ruins of Grosnor Castle (45 minutes), the handsome market town of Abergavenny (50 minutes) or the Brecon Beacons National Park (from 45 minutes).
