Stow-on-the-Wold Rugby Club

Polubione Lovely spot, well organised. Toilet/Shower facilities were very clean. The staff at the rugby club were lovely and the rugby club itself was warm and welcoming. The view, once the mist cleared, in the morning, was a beauty.

Beautiful views, nice clean toilet and shower facilities, and walkable to Stow on the wold.

Polubione Lovely site - not many pitches (which we liked!). Nice and quiet, but lots of space, including a field for the dog to run around in, and a climbing frame for kids to play on.

It’s unusual for such a small, quiet site to have a bar open a few nights (courtesy of the rugby club’s clubhouse next door) - this was a welcome surprise!

Vicky, the campsite manager, made arrival super smooth with friendly, helpful comms.

Niepolubione Not an issue, but the pitches are on a slight slope, so worth having levelling ramps and/or blocks of wood. The campsite had a few, if you get stuck.

The ground is naturally undulating in places, so it’s always useful to have levelling blocks to hand. I’m glad you found the spare ones on site helpful.

Polubione Beautiful view! Vicki was absolutely lovely and very helpful. Showers and toilets were very clean, also very well heated. The hard standing pitches looked level.

Niepolubione Showers could do with a little more room in them, and I have a personal objection to direct overhead shower!
The grass pitches are very sloping, even with double chocks
Waste water emptying could be improved

Polubione Vicky the manageress was very helpful, wasn’t there when we arrived but came to see us when she got back to make sure all ok. Peaceful site, clean showers and toilets.

Polubione Campsite was well located just outside Stow. Although there were toilet facilities in the form of portacabins they were good clean showers. Campsite manager Vicky very friendly.

Polubione Really lovely lady Vicky very helpful. Bit sloping but not an issue. Excellent clean snd warm showers , water pints and chemical toilet point. 25mins wslk into Stow on Wold and then excellent bus service to Bourton on Water, Morton in the Marsh, Cirencester etc. great club house obviously only open when rugby is on. Definitely be back.
