Stow-on-the-Wold Rugby Club

A aimé Peaceful location, large pitches and clean facilities. We arrived quite late and were greeted by the friendliest staff in the clubhouse on site. We enjoyed our overnight stop and we will definitely use this site again.

A aimé A basic campsite but cheap and easy for an overnight stay. Small park for young kids. Toilets were nice and clean. Really friendly manager Vicky.

A aimé Decent toilets and showers, excellent communication prior to and on arrival. A good basic site, but no frills.

N'a pas aimé Pitches are far from level, even with ramps. Site is 2 miles out of town, on a busy main road, there are no shops, pubs or restaurants within easy walking distance.

A aimé The site is clean and tidy, good showers and toilets, and plenty of hot water for washing up! It's handily placed for visiting much of the Cotswolds; we used public transport to get to Moreton in Marsh and Batsford Arboretum, as well as Bourton in the Water. By car many more places are easily reachable.

I can understand why you decided against walking into Stow via the main road. It is very busy and fast, and unfortunately there isn’t a footpath. We have maps available in reception showing the best route into Stow, which takes you through the countryside and along quieter back roads, and we’re always happy to point guests in the right direction 😊

A aimé Perfect for our stop over, hard standing plot with electric and all the facilities you need, great showers and toilet block really clean, keep up the great work Vicky.

A short walk into Stow via Maugersby was really nice too.

A aimé Casual site in a great location. Clean facilities. Friendly site manager. Very peaceful and spacious in early September.

N'a pas aimé Slope of camping field. Not a big problem with levelling chocks.
