Likte Lovely site, friendly owners. Nice cafe and play barn, great for younger children. Wi-Fi very reliable around the cafe and toilets, it didn’t stretch to our tent but we were right down at the bottom of the field. Nice that we can choose our pitch.

Where there was a leak with the shower it has obviously caused the floor to slightly move, we will look at.

Likte We found the farm campsite on pitch up and booked for a family weekend.
Great site, running water, electric hook up, washing up facilities (although no hot water), play barn is amazing for kids and only £2.50 for the day per child staying on site.

Great site for families, friends, couples, although it is very accommodating for children it is also perfect for people without kids.

Homemade cakes daily!

There are toys in the restaurant / cafe, toys outside of the main barn by the goats.
Goats and cow’s people can stroke.
The owners are absolutely lovely and work really hard.

We will be back and have already recommended to friends!

Likte ikke Only improvements could be more showers as only two (someone super selfish spent an hour in there at peak time!), or at least a sign to remind the selfish people that others are waiting and not to take the mick.
I think maybe the showers are too nice for campsite showers so people want to do their make up and take ages in there maybe?
An idea if there was another shower block built would be smaller shower rooms so more can be fitted in, and an area outside with mirrors also so people can dry hair and finish getting ready etc.

Also mirrors in the toilets behind the showers as currently none there would be amazing!

Likte Lovely campsite it is so peaceful. It is great for familys of all aged children. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and the owner was telling us all the plans he has for the site. The play area is absolutely amazing for kids there was so many different things they could play with. We loved the site so much we stayed an extra night and already have plans to come back in the summer. The location is great and only about a 7 minute drive away to the supermarket and there are lots of lakes close by. There is also a communal fridge freezer which i thought was great. There are lots of water hoses around so you could fill up water almost anywhere in the filed. The sunset here is also amazing.

Likte It was a lovely site, with an onsite bar/ cafe. There was plenty of electric hook ups about and water taps. Lovely and peaceful. Plenty of places to walk the dogs.
The staff there were so friendly and helpful. They were very relaxed.

Needs more shower facilities.

Likte This is a peaceful site it a beautiful location, set around a small lake, pitches are large and a little uneven but lots of space. The hosts are really friendly, accommodating and always available if needed. Lots of water points and electric hook ups all around the site. The cafe/bar area is a great addition too. There is a play barn and children's toys available but we didn't look properly as this facility was not needed by our group.

Likte ikke I believe this is a fairly new site and as such there are limited shower/washing facilities, especially as we were there on a very busy weekend. Two family sizes shower rooms are insufficient on a full site unless you are happy to wait up to 45 minutes. The washing up area could also do with a cover in case of bad weather. Hopefully this will be rectified for next season.

Likte What a gem of a campsite! We chose Down on the Farm as it is only 30 minutes away from home so ideal for a weekend break. Checked in on arrival and was welcomed by friendly, helpful staff. We chose a non-electric grass pitch and was able to camp wherever we wanted so we decided to pitch up by the pond. Perfect for sunset reflections! There was a Country Night on Friday night which was well organised. Took advantage of the bar, which is reasonably priced. Showers, although only two of them, were probably the glampiest campsite showers I’ve used. Toilets are limited but the cafe opens early and that gave access to an additional 3/4 throughout the day so it was never an issue. There were also a couple of poratloos lower down the site. Overall, very happy and will definitely be back again!
