Ik was blij met The campsite was well located with several brilliant beaches only a 10-15 minute drive away (Barafundle, Broadhaven South and Freshwater West). It was in a peaceful place and it was fun watching bats whizz around at dusk every night. The individual pitches were a good size and separated by longer grass which had a nice feel to it. We managed to fit two big tents on one pitch and used the other for parking and kids to play. There were 5 showers in total with two slightly larger ones for families. All the showers also had a toilet in them which was helpful with young kids. 5 showers was just about enough to serve mid-August levels of business and avoid needing to queue 95% of the time. Whilst they weren’t particularly powerful they were always warm and worked well enough. The free tea and coffee in the morning was a nice touch as was the free WiFi. We had the freshly made pizzas on the Friday night which went down really well and I would recommend. The on-site shop was small but had everything we needed. There was an honesty pot too meaning you could buy things even if there was no-one there which was appreciated.

Ik was niet blij met Couldn’t have fires or BBQs unfortunately due to nationwide restrictions and high fire risk but the site looked well set up with wood and kindling supplies. The toilets lacked a full size sink or one which didn’t double up as a toilet cistern. Wired rather than solar power to the smaller toilets would have been better for lighting as they were sometimes quite dark. Some dog owners didn’t respect the dogs on lead policy.

Ik was blij met What a friendly campsite! Nice and quiet - lovely to have the grass area in the middle of the fields for the children to play in, lovely addition to have free tea and coffee in the morning with an optional communal area to sit in. Everywhere kept clean in general.
Location brilliant for Pembroke, Tenby and some really lovely beaches.

Ik was niet blij met There were sometimes queues for shower facilities, but never more than 5-10 minutes. Slight incline to pitch.

Ik was blij met The location is fantastic. The mown pitches give you your own space, while keeping a friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of facilities, and all are great. The bonus is the free tea and coffee in the morning, especially when avoiding using stoves in hot weather. It also creates a place to say hi to other campers.

Ik was niet blij met Some other campers didn't keep their dogs on leads, which caused a few challenges. This wasn't specifically the fault of the site, but could have been emphasised to campers a bit better maybe.

Ik was blij met Very quiet location set back from the road (which itself is quiet anyway). The campsite was well maintained and the facilities clean and well topped up. The free coffee and tea in the mornings was incredible and even just using the hot water for porridge in the morning saved us time and effort boiling our own at the tent.

Showers were nice and hot, even if slightly lowpressure but that was manageable, and washing up facilities good too.

Overall, great campsite well situated between Freshwater West for beach and surfing and Pembroke if you wanted to eat out with lots of great coastal walks about.

Ik was niet blij met Some pitches are slightly hilly but they walk you round when you arrive and let you choose which spot you'd like so you can choose what's best for you

Ik was blij met Friendly welcome, big pitches and some of the UKs best beaches right on your doorstep. Our fourth stay and we will be back. Great stone baked pizzas on site on Friday nights too.

Ik was niet blij met All showers double up as toilets. Kept very clean but would be nice to have a dedicated shower block.
