A aimé What a friendly campsite! Nice and quiet - lovely to have the grass area in the middle of the fields for the children to play in, lovely addition to have free tea and coffee in the morning with an optional communal area to sit in. Everywhere kept clean in general.
Location brilliant for Pembroke, Tenby and some really lovely beaches.

N'a pas aimé There were sometimes queues for shower facilities, but never more than 5-10 minutes. Slight incline to pitch.

A aimé The location is fantastic. The mown pitches give you your own space, while keeping a friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of facilities, and all are great. The bonus is the free tea and coffee in the morning, especially when avoiding using stoves in hot weather. It also creates a place to say hi to other campers.

N'a pas aimé Some other campers didn't keep their dogs on leads, which caused a few challenges. This wasn't specifically the fault of the site, but could have been emphasised to campers a bit better maybe.

A aimé Very quiet location set back from the road (which itself is quiet anyway). The campsite was well maintained and the facilities clean and well topped up. The free coffee and tea in the mornings was incredible and even just using the hot water for porridge in the morning saved us time and effort boiling our own at the tent.

Showers were nice and hot, even if slightly lowpressure but that was manageable, and washing up facilities good too.

Overall, great campsite well situated between Freshwater West for beach and surfing and Pembroke if you wanted to eat out with lots of great coastal walks about.

N'a pas aimé Some pitches are slightly hilly but they walk you round when you arrive and let you choose which spot you'd like so you can choose what's best for you

A aimé Friendly welcome, big pitches and some of the UKs best beaches right on your doorstep. Our fourth stay and we will be back. Great stone baked pizzas on site on Friday nights too.

N'a pas aimé All showers double up as toilets. Kept very clean but would be nice to have a dedicated shower block.

A aimé This is a really lovely family site. The pitches are spacious and separated by long grass which makes them feel more private. Charles kindly gave us a large double pitch for us and our 3 adult children and we were in Parke West field, which I think was the best field as we couldn't see the army barracks. Although we could still hear the shouting, whistling and trumpeting, but this was quite entertaining. Also a drone often flew overhead - was this the army spying on us?! Of more interest were the bats who swooped low over our heads every evening and the crickets that sang in the long grass - and occasionally came in the tent.
Facilities here are very good - a toilet block in each field plus wet room showers in the main field - hot showers and not too busy.
Plus a handy shop on site.
Great location for the coast path and many lovely beaches - we particularly liked Church Doors and Skrinkle Haven, but Freshwater West is nearer. Nearest is Broadhaven - we walked from there to Barafundle, a good walk on a cloudy day.
Loved the walk from Freshwater to Angle and walked up to the Green Bridge of Wales on the Sunday - this is through the firing range so not always open.

N'a pas aimé Not much - only that all the sinks are on the cistern of the toilet so not ideal for washing or cleaning teeth, but you get used to it!

A aimé The owner was lovely and very helpful when we thought we were going to be late and showed us around when we got there. Well stocked shop. Good clean facilities. Very child friendly with a relaxed atmosphere. Good sized pitches that are beautifully maintained. Great social atmosphere with free tea and coffee in the morning in a lovely seating area.

A aimé Bien situé, l’emplacement est intime grâce aux hautes herbes, peu bruyant, café ou thé offert le matin, une petite supérette, accueil très agréable, sanitaires très propres. Le prix était correct.

A aimé Lovely campsite, we especially liked how they have used wild grass to seperate pitches! Friendly welcome and easy check in, great facilities including free WiFi and tea and coffee from 7am.
