Ik was blij met The fact the site not changed since holidaying there back in the 1980’s. Location, friendly people.

Ik was niet blij met There is lot of rubbish, junk which prevents access to the river which is also overgrown. This is a pity as it is such a beautiful location and was always a feature of the campsite in the past.

Ik was blij met Location, nice pub in walking distance.

Ik was niet blij met Site was over crowded. Tents seriously close to each other. No room for cars in between.

Very noisy one night, group included site owner!

I found site owner to be over friendly.

Toilets not monitered, so no toilet roll on bank hol Monday morning. Bins were overflowing.

Ik was blij met The site was peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings. The facilities were good and clean. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again. Pitches level and pleasant shade on offer.

Ik was blij met Green rustic setting .. close to town dog friendly … albeit lots cats roaming

Ik was niet blij met Appalling reception … owner moaning about number of customers … we even heard him disawade a couple from stopping even though like us they had booked and paid on pitch up … Complete lack of organisation of pitches .. toilets and showers very very run down … even had to chase up lack of loo roll in all toilets. Late nite noise

Ik was blij met Fantastic location, small shop which sells most things. Very close to 2 wonderful pubs serving good beer and food( very dog friendly). Well kept grass pitches, shaded areas if you want that.. great owner who is a real character. Enjoyed my 4 night stay. (Motorcycle camping)

Ik was blij met We really enjoyed our stay at the campsite! Everything was great – the location, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff.

Ik was niet blij met The only downside was that there weren’t enough hooks or shelves in the toilets and kitchen for convenience.

Ik was blij met The campsite is in a great location - handy for the local beaches and within easy reach of the mountains. Also the nearest pub is 5 minutes walk away and has a great beer garden. We found the campsite to be peaceful and much cleaner than most small sites we’ve visited. Basic but meets all needs. The owner is a character!

Ik was blij met (All pitches are the same whether for motor home or tent )
We have stayed here a few times, we like the site location. At times the site is quiet and peaceful, and we will stay again

Ik was niet blij met The facilities are very basic , and the maintenance/checks not good ( no toilet rolls / having to take your own when you go) One toilet door in ladies doesn’t close properly so can’t be locked .
Shower in ladies good, but men’s , no lock on door, nowhere to hang clothes while showering.
Whilst the booking of pitches now seems to be online only, that seems a little unpredictable. I wouldn’t feel that it guaranteed me a pitch. There is no supervision of where people pitch, and people arrive with multiple vehicles and park wherever , which blocks available pitches , and can make for cramped , close environments. People also tearing branches off trees around site behind our pitch for their evening fire
