Ik was blij met: Small site, flat, well drained ground in nice setting. Nice having a playing field to fly kites.
Ik was niet zo blij met: Cold shower on the Sunday morning; perfectly fine the other days.

Ik was blij met: We have stayed at Litton lakes many times and it just keeps getting better. The site has undergone some great changes over the winter, with improved access to the lake, new toilets and solar powered showers. The atmosphere at the site is always so friendly. Because it is off grid the children really get back to basics with lots of games being played in the large field attached to the site. It is lovely to hear them all having fun playing together. In the evening the site is illuminated by campfires and you can hear groups of friend/ families chatting together. The lake is crystal clear and perfect for paddle boarding and swimming. The cafe sells lovely cakes, snacks, teas, coffee’s, smoothies and milk shakes. The pub near the site is worth visiting, but you may need to book in advance for food as it gets really busy. They often have live bands playing in the afternoon, and many people go to sit in their sunny garden to listen to them. We had four teenage boys in our group and they loved every minute of the trip. We can’t wait to come and visit again.

Ik was blij met: Lovely chilled campsite, even when busy at the weekend. The lake was such a delight to swim in and all age groups were enjoying the paddleboarding. The staff at the cafe were all pleasant and Sarah who runs the bookings is a real asset with keeping everything ticking over. The local pub served an amazing roast dinner!
Ik was niet zo blij met: The new shower block needs a shelf and mirror in the cubicles. The cafe had a strange menu but the bacon sarnies were good.

Ik was blij met: Wonderful campsite! Great facilities that were very clean, plenty of toilets and showers and washing up area. Lovely lake and cafe to sit by during the day and a local pub a couple of minutes walk down the road. Would recommend this campsite to anyone!

Ik was blij met: The site, the pitch size, the shower block, the space
Ik was niet zo blij met: The cafe is usually shut Tuesday and Wednesday so a friend and I planned a quick break Monday-Tuesday. Lunch to be at the cafe with coffee and cold drinks, so this was how we catered. On arrival, cafe closed all day Monday for first aid training. An update had been put on FB page for the cafe but nothing for campers. Luckily we were able to buy a couple cold drinks but no food. Just for info, if cafe is closed also update the campsite FB page. We weren't the only ones caught out
