Worse part about this site is they kick you off the pitch at 10 in the morning which dosent give you any time to do any thing

Ik was niet blij met The pool, not very deep, changing rooms and showering facilities may as well be non existent and the pool was freezing!
We were put at the back of an empty touring pitches, a fair walk away from the toilets and the wash up, x3 toilet blocks but only one open but that changed daily without notice, the toilets barely flush and the showering facilities are spacious but the water button is nowhere near the shower head. Also the touring pitch was pitch black, I didnt feel safe walking my children to the toilet at night so we either had to use our own facilities or take the car.
We had one meal at the restaurant we had lunch and our chips arrived cold, we asked for them to be made fresh as we saw it sitting on the hot plate, they said yes and tried to give us our baguettes to eat while we wait, we paid extra to have chips with our meal so would like it all together, the old chips were re fried and rock solid but hot and the baguette was lukewarm, the attitude from staff was disgusting wouldn't recoment especially not for £40+

Ik was blij met The pitch itself was as I expected, and I can see there is plenty to do for children.

Ik was niet blij met Belligerent staff in the restaurant area. Staff were clearing empty glasses, one member of our group went off to the loo, when she came back he drink was missing! She had a Bailey's liquor drink and had only drank half of it. She and her husband went to the bar and informed them of this. Woman completely refused to replace it, incredibly rude and even called security. This couple are the most gentle couple I know so the security thing was way overkill. The lady with the 'missing' drink was told 'how do I know you didn't drink it and are making this up'? Gob smacked to say the least! We are a group of 55-75 aged people, we don't 'try it on'. This experience was appalling. As a result, they have lost 15 people from future bookings.

Next, the process of getting a booking was extreme to say the least. You had to send passport photos, copy of driving license etc. - never have any of us experienced something like this. We all go to campsites every month for years and never had to undergo this. I will be contacting the Information Commission Officer regarding the taking and keeping of personal information.

Ik was niet blij met Check-in, I was allocated a different pitch area to the one booked. On proof of the booking i was charged extra? Which I believe is a breach of contract.

The check in was hostile and not as welcoming as expected, I was made to feel at fault that the booking was incorrect.

In the bar my nightcap of Baileys was removed/cleared from the table while I visited the toilets. The manager refused to believe the situation had occurred and practically accused me of attempting to gain a free drink.
For context I was part of a middle aged group (yes they didn’t notice my drink being removed but we could well afford a Baileys but I felt robbed that my first evening had come to an abrupt end in this way.

Ik was niet blij met 2 of the toilet blocks were closed by us ,then the gents in the 3rd one was closed so we had no loos or shower,this is not good enough
The bollards on the way out wouldn’t let us out and reception would not answer the fone so we were stuck for 40 mins
Reception staff don’t know the complaints policy
Why do you need yoti to have a pic of my drivers licence and a selfie for security verification when anyone can walk into the site at any time ,this is ridiculous
There wa# no power in the ladies so my wife couldn’t dry her hair
There were ceiling tiles missing from the shower cubicle in the ladies ,like someone was wanting to spy on them
The radiators in the shower blocks were not on and the blocks were cold
There was poo on the floor in the 3rd cubicle from the door in the ladies
There was wee under the urinal for two days and was not cleaned up
The hygiene boards on the shower cubicles was coming away from the wall as was the upvc skirting and that shower block was not clean

Ik was niet blij met Dogs permitted in the no dog section of the restaurant. I saw a dog which was in the no permitted section just missed a young lad nearly biting him the parent reported it but nothing came of it.small kids running around the restaurant although a parent problem no staff or security asking for kids not to run.the chief was handling food with his hands upon plateing up so cross contamination.
When I booked in we were given our passes to which we were never asked to show any where so normal members of the public could if they wanted to just come in so if I had small children would be very mindful of staying.

Ik was blij met Spacious, level pitch. Staff were brilliant. Beautiful walks around the forest.

Ik was niet blij met Toilets close to our pitch were closed.
