Trewan Hall Camping Site

Ik was blij met Shower and toilet facilities were good. Nice location, and ideally placed if doing the Sustrans Lands End to John O’Groats ride. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Really nice chill out room where you can charge devices, and also a shop on site.

Ik was blij met The grounds where very nice but very disappointed that there was nothing to do eg swimming pool etc even the shop was limited opening hours no food vans the nights that it had said on the website we had payed a lot of money for the 5 nights that we stayed if we had understood all this we would have gone elsewhere as a lot of other sites was operating as normal business

I'm glad you enjoyed the grounds and am sorry that we weren't at our full offering of facilities when you visited.

Our pool, entertainment and food night dates are all listed on the pitch-up descriptio. You will have been charged low season rates if you visited us during September when these things finish.

If you are looking for a quiet getaway September is a great time to visit but if you want a trip with lots on then the kids half term, July and August are the times for you.

Ik was blij met What a wonderful spot to camp. So unique and beautiful. We straddled the high season with low so was great to use the pool but also have the campsite to ourselves. What a shame the family are selling. I loved the original 70s mosaic in the pool changing rooms! Don't get rid of that!

Ik was blij met The entertainment and it was good to have the open of freshly prepared fresh food on site to. Very welcoming, we had no issues at all but I am very confident that they would have been really helpful if we had.

Ik was blij met Nice tidy clean site plenty of space on every pitch not restrictive at all with parking on pitch too. Clean and tidy showers and toilets and a on site pool which is life guarded was also clean and warm too. Campfires allowed with obviously sensible usage. We enjoyed a week stay there and teen kids thought was great campsite

Ik was niet blij met Arrival instructions not really adequate, signage for the site is terrible, and it’s not obvious what to do or where to go at all. Every entrance is marked as private, so you’re not sure if you’re supposed to go in or not.

Ik was blij met Had a fabulous time at Trewan Hall. As our kids are getting older (14, 14, 12, 9) we wanted a site with plenty of options but not a holiday park! Trewan Hall is perfect.

Lovely space with lots to do for the kids, with the swimming pool a big winner in the day, and all the children seemed to join in games of manhunt in the evenings.

We took our dog, who had a great time. Whilst she was on lead while on the site, there is a small woodland area where we could let her off for a run around.

The staff are particularly pleasant and I was very impressed with the younger (teenage) staff, who were polite, responsive, knowledgable, and eager to help.

The shop is small but well stocked with food, drinks, kids toys and games, and plenty of camping essentials also - as well as fresh pastries and pasties.

The evening entertainment was always good quality and a good variety, we had sea shanties and synth pop - we missed the Rock night.

We’ll certainly be returning next year.

Ik was blij met The surroundings were beautiful,, facilities although limited we always clean and they also had a bath available which was nice .. the shop provides everything you might need at short notice . A little pricier than a shop but incline with what you would expect.. they also provided pastries which were fresh everyday. Nice touch!.

Ik was niet blij met Could get a bit windy in places but that can’t be helped when you camp in open fields.. also a bit of a lack of rubbish bins when you consider the size of the place
