Deze bosrijke camping biedt rust, uitstekende faciliteiten (café, schone toiletten/douches) en vriendelijk personeel. Ideaal voor wandelaars/mountainbikers met directe toegang tot paden. Ik was blij met Lovely setting, staff were friendly
Ik was niet blij met They didn't read our booking notes until we checked-in. Cafe is closed to campers from 4pm. Toilets ran out of toilet roll. Sinks for washing up are cold water only, which seems an odd choice when the toilets in the same block have hot water. The large group staying in the hostel were outside singing long after the supposed "quiet hours". We didn't mind the singing, but it seems unfair to ask the camping guests to be quiet from 8pm if the rule doesn't apply to everyone.

Van de manager: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re very sorry that the toilets ran out of toilet roll during your stay; this should not have happened, and we apologies for the inconvenience, we are normally really on top of this. We had a few staff off this week so struggled a bit.
Just to clarify, our quiet hours are from 10pm until 8am, rather than from 8pm, so this may simply have been misread. We same rules for noises with campers and the hostel groups.

Ik was blij met The place is not too busy and the staff is very friendly and nice.
Ik was niet blij met They locked 1 out of the 2 shower room for the night I stayed. We have over 30 campers around, sharing one shower room. We ended up waiting for over hours for taking a shower. And when it’s our turn, the shower room is disgusting with mud and excessive water on the floor.

Great campsite in idyllic location

Ik was blij met Had lots of space, campsite was very quiet midweek. Meant we could pick where we wanted to pitch up and had all the room we needed for a large tent. Ideal place for a camp site too on the edge of the forest. Toilets and showers were adequate. Cafe was great to have, very friendly and good selection. Parking was really convenient too, we parked next to the pitch. Picnic benches to eat on scattered across the campground which was helpful.
Ik was niet blij met Toilets weren’t always stocked up on toilet roll, i’d bring some each visit. Floor was also very muddy and wet from showers.

Ik was niet blij met Unless I missed it, the trails around the site seemed to be for people on bikes and wasn't very walking friendly. Still had fun though.

Ik was blij met Very authentic place in a charming location. I pitched my tent on the campsite and had a lot of space, even if it was high Summer. Loads of walking and cycling to do in the surrounding hills. Very cool staff who didn't really care about hours, as long as they could help you with your wishes. Youth Hostel as it should be.

Ik was blij met Decent price. Great location. Quiet. Shady. Cafe on site and a bike place for problems or hire. Toilets and showers.
I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.
Ik was niet blij met Not really a dislike but it wasn't the flatest of camping areas and depending on when you arrive you might struggle to get a flat spot.
