Great for our one night stopover.

Mi è piaciuto Great little stopover. Very friendly, helpful hosts, and good facilities. Yes, there is road noise but we knew about it before we arrived so we were prepared. We parked on the bottom field, which was closer to the road but had much more space. Local facilities within a very short walk.
Non mi è piaciuto There are clearly a few long/term pitches, some of which were very untidy. It’s a shame because the site itself is very well kept.

Mi è piaciuto The site was lovely and clean. We were in spot 30 which was great because the kids had space to run around.
The train station was around a 10 minute walk and only took 20 minutes to get into Chester and there is an Aldi a 5 minute walk away for any essentials.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site with good facilities. Reception was easy and we were led to our pitch and given assistance to reverse into position. The site is close to a busy dual carriageway but we were not affected by this. Plenty lovely of places nearby to visit. Will visit again next year.

Mi è piaciuto The location was perfect, supermarket and coffee shop 5 mins walk, local town with pubs and restaurants within 20 minutes walk and within driving distance of some great historic sites.
The toilets and showers were spotless and well-maintained and the pitch was a generous size, and again, well-maintained. We'll definitely be back

Mi è piaciuto The site is conveniently placed off the dual carriageway with shops and petrol station within a 5 to 10 minute walk, I appreciated the tent pitches being slightly hidden in the trees it made it feel like it's own campsite. The staff were very friendly and the site felt very safe and the facilities were kept clean throughout.

Non mi è piaciuto Some of the residential pitches looked very run down and scruffy. Road noise, didn’t particularly bother us but noticeable when sitting out in the day.
