Mi è piaciuto Such a lovely site. Was nice & quiet being the last camping trip of the year. Site owners/staff were so friendly. Will definitely return next year

Mi è piaciuto The friendly welcome, the location was perfect for us to visit relatives in Mere. The toilet and shower block was clean and well maintained.

Non mi è piaciuto The water in the dishwash area was not very hot

Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on the toilet/shower block as being campers ourselves we always check the toilets when we arrive on a campsite.
Not sue what happened to the water in the dishwash area, we will have to check that one out.

Mi è piaciuto Facilities very clean, well-maintained areas kept lovely. Was a very spacious site, Staff were lovely very helpful.

Non mi è piaciuto Wasn’t anything to do couldn’t walk off site due to the very busy road. Quite close to Shaftesbury.

Mi è piaciuto Great camp site lovely field to pitch and walk round has a large pond at the bottom. Showers were great very clean and hot. Great site to camp and relax.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious, reasonably flat site, with lovely clean toilet and shower facilities. A small well kept fishing pond is a joy to behold. Nearby shops and pubs. Close to Shaftesbury. Easy to find and an ideal location.

Non mi è piaciuto The road noise can be a little intrusive.

Mi è piaciuto We loved the generous pitch sizes and the wonderful open skies of the Shaftesbury Country Touring Park Site. A great treat was having our morning coffee at the side of a wild-life pond, watching the fish jump and the house-martins swoop and fly over the water. The facilities were great, clean and well-illuminated. Steph and Carl were friendly and on-hand to settle us in and explain how the site works.

Non mi è piaciuto Luckily our stay was during the cool month of September and we did not need any shade. If we came during the real heat of the Summer, we would bring some extra shade, perhaps a gazebo or large umbrella. But that would not stop us from booking again.

Mi è piaciuto Had a really lovely weekend stay here and will happily return!
A fabulous enormous field for pitching up on, dog walking around the lake, playing games etc
Plenty of space for everyone!
Facilities are good, with dishwashing area and really clean toilets/showers
But most importantly lovely helpful hosts 🙏
We were camping trying out a new campervan and they were very understanding and helpful ☺️

Mi è piaciuto Good open space and clean facilities. Friendly management and very helpful.

Non mi è piaciuto Change of weather and us parking caravan too close to the stream meant lots of mosquitoes that bit us all. Not necessarily the site’s fault!
