Dal gestore: Many thanks for taking the time to leave us a review. So on arrival you were told to reverse into the pitch so that your habitation door would be facing the other direction. You choose to ignore this information and drove into the pitch which meant your door was facing the tank. We have had the hottest year in a very long time, adding in the volume of people we have had on site especially during July and August, this means that sadly the tank does have a smell. However we are pleased to see that you enjoyed our dog area. Best wishes from Leigh and David.

Mi è piaciuto Went for a weekend of solo camping. Absolutely wonderful site. Facilities are first class, some of the nicest showers I've ever used at a camp site, and toilets were spotless every time I used them.
The site is well situated for walking - I didn't need to use my car all weekend. The local village is around a half an hour walk and has a great pub. Castle Drogo was just over an hour which was a nice afternoon out.
The site itself was very conveniently located 5 minutes off the A30, so despite being in a very rural area, you don't have to drive down any tight roads to get to it. But the noise levels were mostly fine - just the odd boy racer.

Lots of animals and wildlife - sheep, donkeys, birds! And very dark skies at night, great for stargazing.

I'd definitely go back!

Mi è piaciuto Large pitches great welcome clean and central modern toilets and showers. Easy access to water and grey waste for those not on fully serviced .

Mi è piaciuto Spacious pitches. Spotless and modern facilities. Lovely owners. Short drive off A30 but quiet at night. Adults only and dog friendly.

Mi è piaciuto A lovely quiet campsite. Everything was great. Shop on site; good facilities; level pitches; friendly staff. Couldn’t fault it and the price was reasonable too.

Mi è piaciuto A brilliant site spotlessly clean and well kept. Adults only and dog friendly. Excellent services and brilliant reception. Bus stop at site exit which was well used.

Mi è piaciuto 11/10 is easily given to this site.
No expense has been spared.
Lovely welcome on arrival.
Security barriers. Clean facilities that are much better than a lot of sites Ive been to. Ladies even has a hairdryer.
A room with games in.
Lovely walks from site with lots of information about them given when we arrived.
We walked to the local village pub which though a wee hilly we managed as old folk in 40 mins one way.
Location is perfect only 3 miles off A30 so very easy to get to.
Will definitely be back when next in the area and would highly recommend.
