Rhea Farm and Fishery

Mi è piaciuto Very much liked our stay at Rhea Farm with extended family. The site was a lot bigger than I thought, the grass well kept and good pitches, some shady, some sunny, some pitches on the flat and some on slightly sloped ground. The site is off the grid although you can use solar panels and also they provide lockable baskets where you can charge your phones etc, take a small padlock. The toilets and showers were basic but clean and most people on the site appeared to be respect each others space, i.e. no late night music etc. The hosts offered a good nights entertainment on the Bank Holiday weekend, i.e. Saturday which included Pizza, crisps, home made wine which was very nice and a bit of music. This started at 4.30 and ended at 8.30 and was good fun. There are a number of animals kept and looked after on site and it took me back to the days when I use to go on on caravan holidays with my mum and dad on farm sites. The village of Killmington is a very short walk away and is worthy of a good look round and does include a pub, The New Inn. Enjoyable weekend and found the owners to be very friendly and helpful.

Mi è piaciuto We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxed, family‑friendly getaway. There’s an abundance of wildlife and farm animals on site, which the whole family absolutely loved. The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they were brilliant with the kids — they even did a little morning walk‑and‑talk so the children could meet and learn about the animals, which was a real highlight.

On the Saturday evening there was a great party from 4:30 to 8:30, with food and drink included free of charge, which created such a lovely atmosphere. Logs and fire starters were available to buy at a small cost, making it easy to enjoy a cosy fire.

The pitches are well spaced out, so it never felt cramped, and the facilities are very good for an off‑grid site — four toilets and four showers, all clean and in good condition. The location is also ideal for days out in the local area.

Overall, a brilliant experience for families and anyone who enjoys nature, friendly hosts, and a peaceful setting. We’ll definitely be returning.

Mi è piaciuto Relaxed, family friendly, always happy to help. Fishing was fun and £12 to rent a rod and bait. Party bus on Saturday was brilliant pizza drinks and snacks all provided

Mi è piaciuto Large camping area, good facilities, clean and kept, helpfull and kind owners.
We have really enjoyed our stay , the fishing lake and the farm animals are wonderfull.

Mi è piaciuto Wouldn't go back, the women was so rude and made us feel not welcome.

Non mi è piaciuto Awful, the women was so rude and dis not make us feel welcome at all. There list of rules are ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

Even put up a tent you didn’t pay for
Your children left to run wild and left damaged in the entertainment area the dart board now needs replacing because of your lack of supervision
You ruined other campers evening (we had complaints about your group the next day)
We are a quiet family orientated campsite obviously not suitable for yourselves
Rules are there to make sure everyone has a nice experience
You had no respect for others or our site
Great too here you don’t want to come back

Mi è piaciuto Everything. A lovely little site. Showers are excellent. Toilets are good.
Charging of phones and powerbanks is easy too.
Animals are lovely and feeding time was a hit with our minions and they are 13, 16 & 21! The younger children on site loved it even more.
Didn't actually do any fishing, but it's a nice sheltered lake, with plenty of carp jumping around in it.

Mi è piaciuto It’s a lovely, friendly site. This was our 5th stay and it’s like going to visit old friends. Andy and Lisa are brilliant and so welcoming. The loos and showers are always clean as is the whole place. We and our dog will be back again next year. It’s a perfect base to explore Devon and there is a Tesco in nearby Axminster.

Mi è piaciuto What we really liked at Rhea farm and fishery was the quiet, nature and multiple sort of animals surrounding. The family that run this place are so positive and friendly that you almost recharge your batteries from they kindness . Also , there is many things such like fridge and freezer , electric socket etc . This place have all you need … local shop , close distance to sea side and bigger city . Highly recommend
