Narborough Fisheries

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful and well kept fishery with only a small number of touring pitches.
Plenty of sheltered areas around lakes.
Small but well stocked shop on site and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Toilets and showers kept clean.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing to dislike about the site and fishery. Only down side is the neighbours yard as it did get occasionally a little but noisy during the weekdays but overall not that bad.
Free wifi is a bonus but the area does not have good signal for TV or internet so it can be intermittent.

Mi è piaciuto Very close to the A47 handy for accessing most areas,
Staff very good, very friendly, fishing good on both lakes, pitch 11 was handy for the toilets/ shower, although the trees at the pitch could do with looking at as there was a substantial branch had broken off and was just hanging there very worried the damage it would do if it broke off all together,

Non mi è piaciuto Abit puzzled as too just one shower for the whole site ???? Plus the said shower was covered in black mold !!!!
Having said that the toilets and shower were very clean so I guess the mold had gone abit too far to removed.
Having paid £270 for our stay I was taken back to be told it was £10 a day to fish but when we paid it was £9 !!!

Mi è piaciuto The lakes were beautiful and well stocked. Friendly staff. Magnificent willow trees

Non mi è piaciuto Too many (quite large) carp spoils the coarse lake. The hard standing electric hook up are is a bit shabby compared to the rest of the complex.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely, well maintained site, fishing is good on all the lakes, facilities are a bit tired but clean and well maintained.

Non mi è piaciuto Some of the anglers should learn to clean up after themselves.

Mi è piaciuto The site was good, the pitches were a little small but adequate the fishing was ok we caught some carp, perch and tench

Non mi è piaciuto The first full day was spoilt by young fishermen running around and swearing very loudly , the second day saw one of the group return with his parents who then left leaving rubbish in their swims and car park

Mi è piaciuto Fishing was alright, but couldn’t get on the lake we wanted. Friendly reception on arrival.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitch was not as advertised, definitely not hard standing, due to being overgrown, and the neighbours had 2 awnings and a dog run which encroached on our pitch. Facilities were shocking, unclean and only 1 shower for the whole site, brickwork falling down. Overall very run down and not as described. Left feeling very disappointed.

Mi è piaciuto Great place had a spot in front of the lake, so peaceful.
One thing i would say may be upgrade the toilet and shower block and add another shower as only have 1 for the men's and 1 for the lady's.

Mi è piaciuto Staff eete very friendly and helpful fishing wad good a quiet and relaxing site my son and i enjoyed our stay will be back thank you

Non mi è piaciuto It could do with more showers only one in the mens on site the shop coulf maybe stock some minor groserys bread milk etc and have staff in thete the whole time when its supposed to be open
