Questo tranquillo campeggio senza auto offre piazzole spaziose in un frutteto con vista sugli animali da fattoria. L'ospite, James, è lodato per la sua accoglienza e disponibilità. Le piazzole dispongono di bracieri e posti a sedere; galline e anatre libere offrono intrattenimento. Le strutture, seppur basiche, sono pulite. L'atmosfera è serena, ma il terreno può essere fangoso e si suggeriscono più docce.

Mi è piaciuto We booked to stay at Orchard View on a Friday night and were the only people staying. We had our choice of the pitches which all had a firepit built into the ground and a variety of seating available. The campsite also had a sink, a toilet and parking.
The pitches overlook a field of cows which were very friendly and entertaining. The view was so calming and peaceful. We had the option to feed the chickens which was fun!
James the host was incredibly helpful, despite us arriving early he was able to give us directions to the pitch. He even lent us a lighter when we forgot our own.
The price of the stay was incredible value given the facilities available.
We would highly recommend and will definitely return!

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic, my son made a friend with the Grandma of all the cows who waited by our tent for Logan to give her the long grass over night!. Very funny.
Excellent downhill cycle routes, brilliant tent set up with tree tables and pews and a rock fire pit with wood and starters and a lighter. EXCELLENT. Amazing views, very quiet and very beautiful. Lovely People. Top stars defo going again.

Mi è piaciuto A lovely site that I would love to revisit! James was very friendly and helpful, and his instructions made the site easy to find.
The curious chickens were entertaining and I enjoyed just watching the cows and their calves in the field opposite.
This was my first time solo camping and I would definitely recommend to others looking to do the same.

Mi è piaciuto We really enjoyed the scenery, animals and the layout. James is so passionate about the site and his blooming orchard, which we thought was lovely to hear about! We’ll definitely be back as we had a brilliant time. (Ruby was also the cutest little dog ever!)

Dal gestore: Unfortunately I expected this after I at to ask them to put the dog back on the lead and caught them burning anything and everything on the fire pit, when I over a fair package of firewood at a fair price and do say that is all that should be used.
It’s a back to basic campsite toilet and cold water wash area. So facilities and activities don’t really count and I also don’t offer WiFi.
Unfortunately you can’t please everyone, yet if you read the other comments you will see I do and try my best look after you all.
