Ce camping rural et paisible offre de grands terrains bien aménagés avec sièges et foyer. Les clients apprécient l'accueil du propriétaire et sa vision, ainsi que les poules, canards et vaches en liberté. Commodités simples mais propres, toilettes à compost. Nice to stay in a place offering so much natural diversity whether that’s the free roaming chickens that are fun to feed, the cows on the nearby field to interact with and the stay even has fruit ready to pick on nearby trees.
We loved our stay 10/10!!

Fed the chickens and watched the cows in the field next to us 🙂
Nothing was a problem from the owner, he was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

A aimé Site developing nicely. Remains an ideal spot for a quiet camping break. Facilities basic but owner has interesting plans for future expansion and development, in keeping with setting.

A aimé A wonderful campsite, very well thought out. We loved seeing the chickens, ducks & cows. James is such a lovely owner, he showed us around personally & has so many plans to develop the site. He also delivered us some eggs for breakfast that were laid on site. He really went above and beyond. The fire pit and seating area for each pitch was a lovely addition.
We will 100% be coming back. Our little chihuahua loved it too; the dog friendly area of the field was fantastic.
N'a pas aimé We struggled to find any shade on the field, which made things tricky on a hot day.
Also, we have a very small dog, who slipped through the wire fence into the neighbouring cow field, luckily we got her back easily. Completely our fault, just something to keep in mind if you have a little dog.

A aimé Absolutely loved our nights stay at Orchard View. This relatively new site is an absolute hidden gem for those wanting an off-grid, semi wild-camping experience to get back to nature and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet! The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful taking time to show us around personally. A nights stay is well priced. Each pitch is spacious and well laid out with its own seating and fire pit area a short distance from your tent. Setting up with the tent entrance facing the field makes the most of a great view and adds the charm of the occasional visit from the cows. Chickens wander about the site free range and for a small sum you can buy corn to feed them. The site is very sheltered and I didn’t even bother using the guy ropes on my tent. We had a very peaceful nights sleep under canvas and although we did wake when the cockerel started crowing at about 4am, I soon went back to sleep. All part of the charm and a one-off experience for my city-dwelling son! We will certainly be returning soon and can’t wait to see how the site develops.
N'a pas aimé Not much negative to say really. The site is in an early stage of development with many trees and bushes yet to be fully established. I think when the owners long term plans start (quite literally) bearing fruit this is really going to be a very special place.
