Mi è piaciuto I was greeted by the friendly site owner James and was shown the orchard he planted a few years ago which is in the camping field. This consists of Apple, Walnut and Kiwi trees and will look impressive when the trees mature. It was good watching the gang of friendly free range chickens, duck and guinea fowl happily roaming the camp field. Located in a scenic area and ideal for cycling and walking as there are plenty of quiet lanes and nearby footpaths. Various supermarkets are also within ten miles. The site is in the early stages of evolving and I am sure will be very successful. Well done to James and shout out to his lovely dog Ruby.

Mi è piaciuto The site is well maintained, very clean, spacious pitches over looking the field / farm house. there is a stone fire pit per pitch, there is tree stump seating, which is great additions per pitch. There is a water area. Toilet on site. i felt extremely safe there as a solo female traveler. it is also dog friendly :-) the owner James is lovely, and very helpful and friendly. They sell free range eggs, beautiful.
it is in a peaceful location. away from hustle and bustle. highly recommended.

Nice to stay in a place offering so much natural diversity whether that’s the free roaming chickens that are fun to feed, the cows on the nearby field to interact with and the stay even has fruit ready to pick on nearby trees.
We loved our stay 10/10!!

Fed the chickens and watched the cows in the field next to us 🙂
Nothing was a problem from the owner, he was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
