Riverview Caravan Park

Mi è piaciuto The manager we met was very professional and very polite,nothing was too much trouble,we arrived a little earlier and we asked if we could park car as we had arrived early and was going to go for a walk but the lovely lady looked to see if our pods were ready and they were,so we were able to unpack and then go for a walk.Upon walking into the pods they were immaculately clean,they are nice and cosy,we had a great sleep and a restful night,loved sitting by the river watching the wildlife at night absolutely stunning place so peaceful and relaxing,I highly recommend.
The toilets/shower were pristine and well stocked with loo roll,great bar 🍸 had a few barcardis the young man that was serving was very polite and professional 👍 we will definitely be back for longer than a night next time,thankyou for such a lovely stay🙂

Mi è piaciuto The new managers are both lovely, very friendly and helpful. I visited my mum and dad for an hour as they was here in their caravan but decided i wanted to stay, enquired about a pod but they was all fully booked, after 15 mins or so the managers came and found me and told me there was a cancellation, they was both so very kind. We had such a good time i ended up staying another night, had food at the pub which was all homemade and really good quality, the other families were extremely friendly, had such a laugh in the pub in the evenings, bingo and a karaoke was on. Even though theres children here its so quiet and peaceful, all the children are well behaved . I also love that its dog friendly. Booked again for 2 weeks time.

Non mi è piaciuto Some areas may do with a bit of TLC but the new owners say they are going to do this.The outside washing up area I feel would be better undercover but reckon this maybe in there plans?

Mi è piaciuto Been before and love the location with easy access to the river for paddling and swimming. New owners very responsive and keen to help everyone have a great stay. Great food from the Smokehouse. Great entertainment and friendly atmosphere in the ClubHouse - we will be back!

Non mi è piaciuto New owners have been left with a lot of maintenance to do on the site - wishing you both well with it all - you will soon have it up to your standards!

Mi è piaciuto New management were fantastic, so friendly and helpful,
Clear to see they are doing a great job with maintaining and updating the site,
We are at the buns on the run which is in the pub and wow food was insane! Great prices and the loaded fries were amazing! The pub had bingo and karaoke while we was there,
Although the pool is not heated it’s a great addition to the site we braved it every day and really woke us up, the park is great my daughter loved it

Overall a great site I stayed in the pod was ment to be 3 days booked for an extra 2! Great place for kids, family’s and even solo trip! Beautiful walks along the river and so close to tattershall for shops and food,

Have booked 2 more stayed here !

Pitches were well laid out and level.
Owner very helpful and friendly.

Non mi è piaciuto Only two showers available (in ladies) of which one was out of order. The working one was only Luke warm at best. For the number of units and caravans this to my mind was not enough.

Mi è piaciuto New mangers taken over when we visited both full of enthusiasm and very hands on. The site is absolutely beautiful right next to river, lovely walking the dog along it. We brought our tourer we did not stay in pods. Food on site is bang on. Not sure about WiFi out aerial TV was working fine, no issues. Thank you Paula 😊 for making us feel really welcome.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing to dislike the bathroom facilities are fine, everything works which is a big plus for me. The swimming pool needs heating for some, me being me loved the cooler side but I don't think most people would.

Non mi è piaciuto None of these fact will stop us returning but…
The pool was freezing, not just cold but FREEZING.
No restaurant/bar on site (we were unfortunate that the new owners had only just taken over the day before but it wasn’t advertised that it was closed and we then had to drive out to buy food.
