A aimé Back to basics and back to nature. Beautiful surroundings. Quiet and peaceful. Clean and tidy. Lovely off road walks. Pub nearby. 4g/5g signal good (in case you need tech). Owner helpful and responsive. Large pitches, well spaced, giving privacy and feeling as though you are really wild camping. The cleanest portaloo I've ever seen!

N'a pas aimé The pitches were on very uneven ground, making walking in reduced light a little tricky. Although, overall were fairly level, we didn't need levelling ramps. Lots of weeds on the pitch, mainly thistles. The lake was beautiful, but quite stinky (I guess to be expected), just a warning if you take your dog, you'll need to be able to wash them off otherwise they'll pong lol. At £30, a little pricey for a back to basics site.

A aimé A fantastic site. Really useful, clear instructions for arrival. Fantastic pitch (Maple, electric fenced). The whole site was set out perfectly, with large, level and fairly private pitches. Lovely walks around the wider farm. Local pub with a 20 minute walk (drove passed, but it was too hot to attempt the walk with our dog). Great views. Quiet and peaceful. The toilets were modern and clean, the showers were hot and powerful. Great wifi. Couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended.

A aimé The reception staff were friendly and helpful, the shop useful and well stocked, and the restaurant and outdoor seating area were lovely. The location of the site was perfect, direct access to the beach and a short walk to a small village with a pub, fish and chip shop and small shop. Pitch sizes were good and the touring site was well set out. The toilet blocks were clean, with plenty of loos and showers, and the showers had good pressure and stayed warm.

N'a pas aimé Some of the pitches were quite sloping, so take your levelling blocks! and it was quite a walk to the toilet block from our pitch (23). Unfortunately the pitches were quite muddy, with little or no grass (just a patch of mud/soil) but I understand the weather had been shocking before our arrival, so little the site could do about this. Site wifi was very expensive (in my opinion).

A aimé Absolutely gorgeous site!! Wish we stayed longer. Great lay out, with plenty of space and greenery. Felt really remote, but a couple of villages not too far away. Great for walking. Lovely, helpful staff (wardens? Site managers? Not sure of their actual role, sorry), made us feel welcome and showed us some great trails for walking. The site was clean and plenty of loos and showers. Couldn't recommend more.

A aimé Spacious, fairly level pitches. Peaceful site and location. Well maintained site -very pretty. Great walking access to the Menai Bridge, and around an hour walk to Llanfair village.

N'a pas aimé The toilet blocks on the outer camping area were very dated... but I'd rather have dated loos than none at all!!

A aimé Showers were clean and powerful. Vending machine on site for snacks and toiletries. I'm sure the location is good for walkers, but we booked as a stop over from Cardigan to Bangor, and were hoping for spectacular views as per the photos, but were sadly disappointed from our pitch.

N'a pas aimé The pitch we were allocated had none of the views as seen on the photos advertising the site. Instead, we had constant road noise from one of the busiest roads linking north and south Wales. We could still hear the road from inside our closed up van. Our pitch was mainly soil, with clumps of grass, not well maintained. The field we were in must have been used to graze horses when not occupied - there was plenty of horse manure to evidence this. The best bit of all, a dog from the neighbouring house (behind the fence from our pitch) was easily able to get through the fence, and attacked our placid 12 year old whippet, who was on a lead as per site rules!! We paid £40+ for one night, and for the pitch we got, I feel this was extremely overpriced. Glad we only stayed one night.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Wendy, Sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us, if you had let us know that you were not happy with your pitch we would have found you a different pitch that suited you better. The price you paid was for an electric grass pitch with 2 dogs and is fairly priced for the time of year.

A aimé Absolutely lovely site. The owner was really friendly and helpful. The toilets and shower blocks were super modern and clean. The pitches were really well maintained. And the best part, the views were stunning! Great panoramic views of the sea, and only fields in view in the surrounding area; dark skies and silence, perfect. Woke up to the sound of sheep, and that's it. Nice local pub about 15 minute walk, and New Quay around 35 min - 1 hour away along the coastal path (depending on fitness if course). Would certainly recommend this site!

A aimé Spectacular views, and great walks from the site. Very peaceful. Great toilet and shower blocks, very clean and modern. Lovely owner. Excellent wifi (absolutely no phone or 4g signal). Cute little room with fridges, microvave (20p to use), kettle (20p to use), local info and a book swap. Level pitches. Wish we were staying longer!

A aimé Great views. Good location to visit St Davids Centre. Lovely bar/pizzaria/coffee shop area. Clean toilets and showers. Decent 4g reception. Wifi available in the bar area. Friendly staff. Fairly level pitches.
