A aimé Niche, cute, cozy and secluded.
Just the right amount of facilities to keep you keen but not to much to take away from the wild feel of camping.
Mawgan Porth beach 5 minute walk up and down a hill
View was spectacular with visibility of planes taking off from Newquay airport!
Showers and toilets where lovely and clean for what you’d expect camping

Some large group came in one of the days however didn’t bother us.

A aimé Really nice spot with great views and easily walkable distance to beach and Mawgan Porth shops.

On first sight the facilities look really basic but the showers are warm, the toilets are clean and there is a communal plug for electronics. What more do you need!???

N'a pas aimé All campsites need more trees - not just this one. There was absolutely no shade and the heat just beats down

N'a pas aimé There wasn’t enough space on a large pitch for our tent, I spoke to the owner on the phone before arrival but there was just not enough space. We’d put in the dimensions of our tent into pitch up.

I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experience.

The measurements provided on pitchup.com were 3x3 mt i gave you pitch no9 which is 4x3.5 mt.

I do my best to book people according to the tent size they provide on booking.

A aimé What a quaint little spot. Loved the little nooks for camping that made it private.
Abel was very helpful on any queries I had.
Showers & toilets kept super clean. Dog friendly. We will be back !

A aimé The toilets and showers were good, and the water was hot. Good location as a base. There are small communal areas with fire pits.

N'a pas aimé The site and pitches are very small with gorse/spikes bushes around. I got two enormous spikes through my crocs. I wouldn’t have wanted to set up a tent on the van pitches. Pricey for what it is compared to other areas although that is probably the area.

A aimé Everything - we loved the privacy the pitches provide - it was perfect for a short stay exploring .. although the walk back from the village is steep!
Facilities were top tier and we will definitely be visiting again! Thank you ☺️

A aimé One of my favourite camp sites i’ve been to! I loved the secluded camp sites in the woods. Good facilities - I had a nice hot shower and toilet block was clean. Great location being a 15 minute walk to Mawgan Porth beach

N'a pas aimé Could do with better waste disposal eg recycling bins as i couldn’t find any bins other than the small ones in the toilets. Washing up area could do with having a roof over it - only small things

There are bins and recycling area at the entrance of the field, sorry if you didn't get the info on the booking text. We are aiming to get better every season but still a little business with little means 🙂
