There are four showers available on a 24 hour basis and whilst they are cleaned and checked on a regular basis they can become dishevelled at peak times. I am not sure why the shower was cold as all showers have either a gas or electric boiler that operate on a 24-hour basis but I will ask the maintenance team to check this. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Lulworth Cove and Durdle Dor, nice flat pitch.

N'a pas aimé I would have given it 10 stars but the Showers and Toilets are very small and only 2 showers and 2 Toilets on the field we were in, apart from that a nice site.

Just a reminder that we do have x 4 showers and x 3 toilets available on a 24 hour basis in two separate shower blocks and that campers are invited to use the pub toilets during pub opening times. A aimé Quick & easy access and check-in, good size pitches and facilities; really friendly team - great team for dinner service considering they were super busy (which is also great to see); lovely food, good prices.

N'a pas aimé Breakfast was slightly chaotic - was a big event happening that day & think they underestimated how many would come for breakfast; we were lucky as we were up early - they did run out of several breakfast items on the cooked brekkie.

I am sorry that somebody parked in your slot as we had specifically allocated that pitch to you - I can only imagine that this was a club member who was down with you to enjoy the rally. N'a pas aimé Toilet/shower facilities very poor. Not enough toilets/showers for size of site, and poor quality. Confusing door codes and questionable cleaning.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for taking the trouble to leave feedback and we are pleased you enjoyed both the pub and the pub food and found the site nice and tidy. There are 2 shower blocks (as indicated on the Campsite Arrival Map) providing 4 showers in total aligned to the AA 3* requirements. At check-in we do also invite campers to use the pub toilets during pub opening times. The toilets and showers are cleaned and reviewed on a regular basis and noting that they can become busy during the ‘rush hours’ we do ask if there are any issues that these are brought to the attention of the pub staff so that they can be addressed in a timely manner. The door codes are used to deter those passing by from simply parking up and using the toilets and showers to the inconvenience of our guests; we have found having door codes to be particularly effective in stopping this practice. In terms of pitch cost, you booked an electrical pitch. Unfortunately for the electrical hook ups we pay higher commercial rates of electricity that attract a 20% rate of VAT. I am sure you would join us in the campaign to reduce the VAT rate on hospitality, which of course can then be passed onto our guests. I do hope this provides some clarity to your feedback.

I had to reattch one shower door when I walked in, but no big deal.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and the children enjoyed the play park - the Parish Council have recently refurbished it. The showers are checked on a regular basis and we do ask if there are any issues that the staff in the pub are informed but thank you for putting the door back on its runners. We hope to see you all again at some point in the future.

There must be some confusion; I do not know why you had to sleep in the car park as the campsite is accessible after10.00pm to campers who have checked-in. I am afraid the signal for some mobile phone providers is not very good in the more country parts of Dorset but the pub does offer complimentary WiFi that can be used by campers.
