Upon booking the two pitches, I specifically requested that they be next to each other, as both bookings were made under my name. I even called the holiday park before our arrival to confirm this request and was assured it would be noted. However, when we arrived, we were allocated pitches that were not next to each other.
We spoke to several staff members at reception in an attempt to resolve the issue, but we were repeatedly told that nothing could be done because the park was fully booked. To add to the confusion, my brother was told that if we wanted adjacent pitches, we should have paid an additional £25 at the time of booking—something that was never mentioned in any previous communication.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that the pitches directly in front of ours remained vacant for the entirety of our stay. This gave the impression that our request could have been accommodated but was simply overlooked.
Overall, this experience was disappointing and did not meet our expectations, especially after we made every effort to communicate our needs in advance.
