The entertainment was brilliant lots of things to do the pool was amazing my 9 and 7 year old loved the slides and the outdoor pool was brilliant for my 3 year old. Security was always friendly and helpful. The pitches were nice and spacey and clean. Only down side and why I gave 4* is the touring showers they wasn’t clean or well kept the showers are very low I’m only 5ft 4 and I had to bend down to wash properly and had quite big gaps when the door is shut.

The toilets was always flooded and dangerous all day I'm sure they was only maintained once a day

Directions to the park were very straight forward. Booking in was quick and easy. Pitch size was more than enough. Venue location was within walking distance and catered for all ages. Great bus service right outside the park.

Locating of pitch was not easy to find. Markings on the floor not great to follow. Road in and out full of pot holes. Shower block was disgusting Worse I’ve ever used. Never see the cleaner at all over my 5 day stay. Could do with knocking down and rebuilding. Venue toilet all tho they have been upgraded most toilet seat we’re hanging off.

Awful place everyone is on top of each other, hence noisy day and night. The swimming pool was so overcrowded it looked dangerous.

Wasn’t pleased with anything tbh

Pitch was full of rubbish and it took me 3 times to go to reception to report it before someone actually came and cleared up, also was other peoples cars parked on my pitch. And Friday night we reported a smell of cannabis coming from over the way and this continued to be smelt all of our stay till we came away this morning. Security never dealt with it .

The staff are all very helpful and friendly.

Having booked late there was no time to book swimming pool slots, therefore we were consigned to wait in the walk in queue. ‘Get here early’ we were told. Even having waited 40 minutes to get in we didn’t quite make it. This lead to upset children and, next slot time, an even earlier arrival to try and ensure a swim.
The max number of swimmers is 80 I believe, those who know the score and book their swimming slots early (at the time of booking their holiday) get to queue in the ‘pre-booked’ line and can quickly take up most of these 80 spaces leaving very little chance of anyone in the walk in line getting in.
This system is pretty poor and should be addressed to avoid disappointment to young kids who don’t understand. After all, the pool facilities are a key selling point of the park and thanks to the pool management system, one of it’s biggest downfalls.

The park is very tired, and grubby. Loads of rubbish blowing about, ok it was windy, but nobody appears to be sweeping the place up resulting in a general untidyness. The entrance into the back of the Reedcutters and the shop was just full of old rubbish such as cigarette ends and food wrappers.

The kids playpark is great but the bark covering the floor has all been ground into dust, again full of litter and cigarette ends and really needs to be replaced. The playpark itself could use a lick of paint.

The washroom facilities in the touring field where we stayed are a disgrace. There are missing tiles in the shower cubicles and the floors in them didn’t look like they’d seen a mop in weeks.
The urinal tray wasn’t draining properly and the p wave disinfectant pads had taken root they had been in there so long.
The washing up sinks routinely blocked and the whole building stank of blocked drains.

All in all, this place could be great but investment is needed as is a more comprehensive site cleaning schedule coupled with a different system to manage the swimming pool.

Some of the kids facilities are ok. The location is also pretty handy being close to the seafront and Great Yarmouth.

Where to start? The pitch sizes are very small and felt a lot like sardines in a tin. The toilet and showers were ok and cleaned regularly but everything was in need of updating. The general condition and age of the site and facilities in general are all showing their age and in need of renovations. Evening entertainment was pretty lacklustre and as most of the general staff are teenagers and seasonal workers, there’s very little emphasis on good customer service and satisfaction. I get that this is a family oriented park but there were a LOT of feral kids running wild and unsupervised. It certainly attracts a particular type of clientele. This led to zero respect from neighbours and for quiet time on an evening. We were kept awake on a couple of nights by loud, drunken behaviour well after 2am. Again I get people are on holiday but I don’t want my kids woken in the night by drunken idiots shouting and swearing at the top of their voices. The park were also very difficult to contact prior to our stay and slow to respond when I wanted to amend my booking which they also wouldn’t honour. I wouldn’t recommend at all and I won’t be returning.
