Me gustó Friendly spacious. Good size pitches. 20 min walk from Coleford. Very clean and tidy. Little shop where you can get breakfast baps, tea, coffee piza, plus other bits and bobs. Catch the bus from Coleford to Ross On Wye or Monmouth.

No me gustó Picky i know but paying extra for wifi. Paying extra for electric which is metered. But i guess lots of sites do that.

The decision to charge separately for electricity and Wi-Fi was not one we took lightly, and we gave it considerable thought. Previously, we charged a flat rate of £6 per night for electricity. However, with the increasing popularity of electric vehicles and some guests understandably feeling this was unfair when using very little electricity, we decided to introduce a fairer system. After extensive research, we invested in MetPow, developed in collaboration with Rolec, allowing guests to pay only for the electricity they use. So far, guests have paid anywhere from around 40p per night upwards, with nobody reaching the previous £6 daily charge. Our electricity consumption has also reduced, making this a positive step towards sustainability. Feedback from guests using the system has been overwhelmingly positive. However, we appreciate that apps aren't for everyone, so next year we will also offer the option of a flat rate, giving guests a choice. Regarding Wi-Fi, our small charge of £1 per device per 24 hours helps us manage bandwidth and prevent excessive downloading or streaming from affecting the service available to other guests. Our aim is never to add unnecessary charges, but to keep our pricing fair, transparent and sustainable while continuing to invest in the campsite and its facilities. We appreciate all feedback and continually review how we operate to ensure the best experience for our guests. I will certainly be looking at wi-fi options over the winter.
