Me gustó The quiet, the location, the pubs and tea rooms all very close by.

No me gustó Only having 1 key per family for the toilet block.

Me gustó Location near beach and short stroll to village pub.

No me gustó Very slopping pitch and electricity cutting out when trying to boil kettle.

Me gustó The friendly staff and the Amazing Pub...the food was fabulous. The campsite is extremely well kept, beautiful pitches all very flat and close to the facilities....which are equally as fabulous. We had a caravan pitch for 4 nights and loved the sound of the running stream behind the pitch and all the birds we could hear signing...can appreciate what other campers have commented though about the road noise; whilst this didn't bother us as we were in a caravan I can see how the road noise might bother those in a tent, but that said we didn't notice it to bother us nor keep us awake. We are due to stay again for another night soon as we loved it there so much and have highly recommended it to a family member who has mobility issues. We have found this site to be extremely good value for money...there are NO hidden extras to be added on.

No me gustó Minor issue with a whiff of drain smells but nothing too bothersome.

Me gustó Very quiet site, possibly because we were pretty much the only people there! Close proximity to Buxton (although we didn't walk to the town). The owner was helpful on arrival. Really nice dark site and great views (if you didn't look in the direction of the industrial estate to the one side).

No me gustó Sadly the showers weren't in tip top condition ....which was disappointing given you had to pay £1 for 6 mins shower time. We were staying on site with my parents; my father alerted the site owner to an issue with the shower, which sadly wasn't rectified during our stay.

Del administrador: Hi, sorry about the showers - we finally discovered that the heat exchanger was defective. We have now replaced it. We will be giving the shower block a deep clean over the winter to replace silicone and other defective elements.
