Me gustó We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, peaceful campsite. It’s a small, quiet site with beautiful sea views and some very friendly neighbours — a couple of horses, some goats and an especially friendly sheep! The location is fantastic, with direct access from the site onto the Cleveland Way. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the cliffs to the abbey, which could be seen from the campsite and looked absolutely spectacular when the sun caught it. Self-check-in was really easy and straightforward. There is just one toilet and shower, but as it’s a small site, this wasn’t an issue at all during our stay. A beautiful, tranquil spot in a fantastic location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return for a longer stay.

Me gustó What a gem of a site. Friendly welcome and the best pitch of the year for me with my ‘own’ waterfall. A clean and well-loved site. Will definitely be back (with no work and the dog)

Me gustó Possible the most relaxing weekend I have had this year! Despite the rain I was able to get out and about for some hikes in a stunning location and all accessible from the site. The dog had a great time as well. The site itself felt very safe and secure with a coded gate. The toilets and shower blocks were clean as was the washing up area. There is even a boot and dog washing area. To be honest, I was so tired after the walk, I didn’t notice the wind turbine at night. Such a friendly vibe! I will definitely be back.

Me gustó I babysat my niece last night and decided to bring her here instead - best decision ever. Friendly, helpful owners - couldn’t do enough - from the bonfire to taking the kids en masse to feed the chickens, pigs and sheep. Proper back to basics fun - the kids made friends and played until after dark - not a device in sight! The friendly chickens were an added bonus as they kept me company after my niece deserted me!

Me gustó This site is a gem. Facilities exactly as advertised - cold water only - but exceptionally clean toilets and showers. The host was friendly and helpful and the vibe is very chilled and relaxed. There is plenty of room onsite and the views are outstanding. Very close to the coastal path and other walks. The dog and I loved it. I’ll definitely be back.
