Me gustó Very clean, well laid out, excellent showers and toilets (with music). Wonderful bar area which has an adults only area too. Decent walk into Berwick upon Tweed for a lovely day out. Helpful Reception.

Me gustó Clean, perfect field for Camping. Level pitches, clean portaloo. Sam and Jo absolutely lovely, friendly, helpful and really interested in their guests. Amazing views, huge sky. Great local pub that does good pub grub and a 'clean' pint.

No me gustó Hard to find. You need the email that Jo thoughtfully sends beforehand. What3Words works but GoogleMaps and Waze dont.

Me gustó very chilled and laid back small site getting back to nature. Plenty of wildlife (including the Alpacas), free to pick your own spot, nice little cafe with very friendly site owners. Clean toilets and showers.

No me gustó A fair distance to the toilets and showers from the campsite, down a hill along a narrow road.

Me gustó Lovely setting in apple orchard beside the river. Spacious pitches. Toilets and showers basic but sufficient for our needs. Lovely terrace at the bar for sitting and watching the river with a chilled local cidre.

No me gustó You need to take all supplies with you as there's no shop within walking distance.

Me gustó Toilets and showers were clean.

No me gustó Site appeared closed on our arrival. No staff. Gate open and areas being used for parking for local football team training. No other campers. Youths using sofas and other campsite areas. No security at all. Phoned number on office door - very quick to take our balance over the phone! Didn't feel safe. Stayed just one night instead of the 2 we'd paid for. Also, a larger motorhome would have struggled to get to the site on the immediate roads.

Me gustó A wonderful, quirky stop-over. Anne, the Host, was very welcoming and friendly. The social barn which is a fully equipped kitchen, was a great place to cook, share wine and spend the evening talking to fellow campers. Anne share a glass of a local aperitif with us - delightful! Facilities are spotlessly clean and again, quirky! Pick figs and walnuts from the trees and talk to the chickens if you feel inclined. Would like to stay longer but hopefully, next time.

Me gustó Surrounded by nature, spacious, clean. Exactly as described, this woodland site was all we hoped it would be.

No me gustó Couldn't find a glass recycling bin so took it away with us.

No me gustó On site facilities were very tired and in need of upgrading. Charging for a shower was new to us - never come across this before. The water was scalding and had no thermostat control. You couldn't turn the shower off when you'd finished as it was on a timer - what a waste of money! No hot water at all in the sinks. The EHU and water stands were held together with tape. A large site and the only bins were at the entrance and not signposted at all. A 40 minute walk to the nearest place where we could eat, drink, buy essentials.

Me gustó Stunning views. Excellent facilities - tons of hot water for showers, clean toilets, great laundry and washing up facilities. Eco and recycling facilities. Site security. Friendliness of staff. Beautiful beach with good bar at the beachside hotel. Small convenience store at the beach for essentials.

Me gustó Wide open space. Hook-up and water availability. Family showers - great asset. Hot water in showers and kitchen. Facilities for use in the kitchen e.g. fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave.

No me gustó Toilets and showers a little tired and in need of updating but that's a very minor thing.

Me gustó New shower and toilet block offering plenty of hot water. Good washing up area and a laundry area. Friendly greeting and offer a few groceries, although not cheap. Goos site for a quick overnight stop in the area of Mont St Michel.

Me gustó Decent size pitch with electricity. Had a pool and a snack bar which also sold a few groceries (we didn't use either so can't comment on what they were like). We ordered a baguette for each morning which was lovely. Office staff friendly. Hot and plentiful water for washing up and showers. Shower system uses a digital button which gets recharged every day giving each person a 10 min. shower daily. Each credit is worth 30 seconds and you get 20 credits each. Sounds complicated but really wasn't - a very efficient and eco way of using water. Toilets and showers are unisex but we didn't have a problem with that. Laundry facilities worked well - you buy a token from the office. Secure entry and exit to site with code given on arrival. A good, restful week for us enabling some local exploration on foot.

Me gustó Very friendly welcome. We were able to choose our own pitch which we did after a walk round the site. Excellent showers, toilets and washing up facilities. Swimming pool is on site but we didn't use it. Well worth it for a quick overnight stop.

Me gustó Lovely site on edge of little town. Beside the river with a cycle trail that runs all the way from the Black Sea to the Atlantic. Well laid out with plenty of room between pitches. Hot water showers. Clean toilets. Friendly staff. Would happily stay for longer than 1 night.

Me gustó Wonderful hosts, great site and beautifully run. Toilets and showers were basic but clean. Camping field was spacious and included fire pits and bbqs free to use. Recycling area and washing up facility. Campsite is building up and now includes a forest school, gym and a fabulous cafe. Will definitely return for one of their events.

Me gustó Everything about this site was fantastic. Friendly staff, wonderful facilities all immaculately kept. Shop was well stocked. Pitches were well spaced with hedges between so there was privacy for all. Lovely walks through the site woods and playground was very well looked after. Pool looked lovely although we didn't use it. We were super impressed with the eco credentials of the site - fabulous 👌. Will definitely keep on my favourites list and visit again.
