Me gustó The peace and quiet. The lovely bar and the amazing fish and chippies. Clean showers (which are extremely powerful) and the clean loos.

Me gustó Staff were great. Close to the town, good pubs in fort Augustus.

No me gustó Toilets and showers, dirty and messy. Pitches were far away from the entrance and looked like a third world site??

Me gustó Staff were very good. Moved us from a small pitch to a larger one.

No me gustó No room at the pool. Was very busy so we gave up on it.

Me gustó Toilets and showers were fantastic. Shop opened on request. Pitches were very well looked after. The pool is perfect for young children to lean how to swim. Most of the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.

No me gustó Not much was open as it was low season. Still cost quite a lot of money for what was there. Was offered to refund and move, was pitching the awning so refused. Prices could be halved at low season.

We were sorry to hear that our mid-season offering did not meet your expectations. When you arrived, you were disappointed that our bar was not yet open for the season. As it was clear from the outset that our park might not be what you were looking for, we immediately offered you a full refund and the opportunity to leave without penalty. You chose instead to remain and continue your holiday. Our facilities and seasonal opening dates are clearly advertised before booking, and our June prices reflect our quieter mid-season period. Many guests specifically choose this time of year to enjoy a more peaceful atmosphere while still benefiting from our heated swimming pool, shop, modern amenities and beautifully maintained park. We appreciate that every guest has different expectations, but we're pleased that, despite your disappointment, you recognised the quality of our facilities and the efforts of our staff. We wish you all the best for your future travels.

Me gustó Pitch number 1. It’s a huge pitch with an amazing view. Absolutely love this site. Peaceful and quiet. Loads of walks around and we take our bikes. The showers and toilets are clean and well tended. The washing up sinks are behind the toilets. All makes for a very comfortable stay. The pub, a 5min walk from the site, cutting through the shortcut is a friendly and food is a delicious change from cooking in the van. Rob who owns the site is a lovely approachable chap who turns up often during your stay. Any probs?? Which we have never had, will be duly sorted. Helen is on the ball with customer services.

Me gustó Having been going to Martha’s Down for some years, we always enjoy going back. It’s so pleasant and the scenery is fabulous. Gorgeous to sit out and look at the view with a nice drink, before wandering down to the village. We cycle for hours around the villages and usually go out for lunch, but we do stay sometimes and have a bbq. Lovely place to stay, you could be anywhere in the world at Martha’s.

Me gustó The usual upkeep of the pitches is fabulous. Toilets and showers clean and filled with loo roll and paper towels. Love this site x

Me gustó The size and privacy afforded with the motorhome pitches. Close to village with its exceptional pub. Brilliant for bike riding and long walks through the woods.

Me gustó Love the peace, quiet and the beautiful views at Martha’s Down. Nice walk to the village, love the Lamb Inn. Always a friendly bunch to while away the time chatting. Like Rob at MD, love going there, half an hour from our home and you could be a millions miles away.
