Me gustó: Waking up to the view from our van was spectacular, and that the toilet/shower block was always clean with added extras ie, nail varnish remover, Cotten pads and buds. The refreshing dip in the sea with the unexpected seals was fun. There are some lovely pubs serving food a short drive away.

No me gustó: The fact we missed the courtyard facilities by 1 week was frustrating but understandable given the time of year and weather conditions.

Me gustó: Very beautiful scenery and very well kept grass. They had shop on site and toilets which were very clean.

No me gustó: The tent pitching area was on a slope.

No me gustó: Arrived 2 pm on site on 18th September 2024 to find the reception closed (only open 9am until 12m). Telephone contact only, finally told we could pitch 'anywhere along the top hedge' in the FIELD known as Ramsey. Site advertised with bar, piazza outlet and shop May through to September. We were charged a HIGH SEASON rate of over £40 per night, but all facilities were closed for the season. Showers and toilets were open, two drinking water outlets on site within the field alongside chemical emptying point, no apparent grey water drain and no site map available explaining where it might have been located. Site appears to be set up for use in the high season for young people in campervans within open fields alongside the static caravans area.

Me gustó: Fabulous.I pitched in Beach Field & had the most amazing View to Wake up to. I arrived with only ten Mins to pitch What is the weather my tent before darkness but thankfully all good. Very peaceful place seconds from the beach. Lovely walks. Very good facilities.I loved the Courtyard & had an amazing GF free pizza last night & a drink from the bar Which opens at 5pm. Can't Wait to be back. Unbeatable !

Me gustó: The views were outstanding. The site provided the perfect combination of great amenities (including bar and pizza stall) whilst still maintaining a natural and open feel.

Me gustó: I stayed here on my own with my two year old twins for our first proper camping (not glamping) experience. I was a bit nervous about it being stressful but we all had a great time. The site is really peaceful and has absolutely stunning views. It's a nice size with both the beach and the toilet block only a 2 minute walk from our tent. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, especially the lady working on the bar, and the pizza was lovely and it was reasonably priced for the area. Other campers were friendly too and I had two offers of help from strangers who noticed I was on my own. It was great to have a tea / coffee bar in the morning serving fresh pastries. Toilets and showers were very clean and there were no queues for either. The disabled toilet also had baby changing with a great little seating area for the other twin to sit on when I changed her sister. There were also kids sinks in the ladies toilets. There's a small kids play section in the courtyard which the girls really loved and was a nice touch on a smaller site. Lovely to see so many dogs around and it was nice that they could be in the courtyard area too. I'll definitely be returning with my husband and our dogs next year. The location is the most stunning view I've ever camped in. This view is basically from a clifftop above a beach, so yes it does get windy. The girls weren't bothered by the wind at all (even at 30mph) but that's something to think about if booking in low season because there seem to be other reviews complaining about the wind which seems unfair when it's expected in the location. As a solo adult the prices are actually very cheap compared to other sites as they only charge £16.50 when other sites often still charge the rate for two adults.

No me gustó: Not a dislike but a little kids picket style fence would be a great addition round the play area just to create more of a boundary and pause them a bit from their excitement of coming down the slide and running back to my table. My girls are particularly high energy but I imagine this would be useful for other toddlers too. Kids size pizza or some side orders would be a great addition to the menu.
