Me gustó We loved everything about this family-run site. The owners were incredibly welcoming and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great stay. They even offered to pick up anything we needed from the local shop, which was such a thoughtful touch.

There was a trampoline and a swing for the children, but the animals were by far the highlight of our visit. They made the stay really special and our family absolutely loved spending time with them.

We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, peaceful campsite with a personal touch.

Me gustó Small campsite, friendly owners (and dog) who came around and chatted to us and recommended a walk, really pretty and rural location, we stayed in our camper for 2 nights.

shower block and toilet were always clean and really nice. Will definitely be coming back!

No me gustó Not a dislike but an FYI steep drive to get access, my T4 had to do the hill in 1st. Not a deal-breaker by any means for the campsite.

Me gustó Amazing views and friendly host who allowed us to ‘green lane’ to the top of his fields. Basic but usable toilet/shower facilities in shed by gravel pitches.

No me gustó Toilet facilities in the field very basic and not very hygienic (it was quite a steep walk down & up again to the shed facilities if you pitch in the upper field)

It is a natural and rural site and the compost toilet - although basic - is what it is and in terms of hygienic we do encourage the use of the new facilities which everyone has generally referred to as first class and very hygienic .
We could remove the compost toilet but we feel that would remove the convenance for our guests - greener camping were more than impressed with our facilities and we do like the ethos of providing a stunning rural location along side all the modern facilities you could ask for
Perhaps you should have stayed on the yard rather than the field

Me gustó The space is incredible, from large pitches with a great view and big distances between each other, till the new shower and toilet house and beautiful peacocks. The owner is so much fun to have around and full of great tips. He even looked after our dog for an afternoon so we could go to the coal mine (Big Pit, don’t miss this one!).

If you’re lucky their dog will also bring you all sorts of things (shoes, socks, gloves, sticks) from its house to play fetch with.

Extra tips:
- Red Lion was our favorite Inn with a delicious curry
- Big Pit national coal mine museum
- Swim in the river!
- Trigg’s at the mill for delicious bread
- Four waterfalls was a great hike. Come early!

Me gustó We loved this campsite - the wild flowers and views over the hills and river were beautiful. The pitches were nice and flat and Chris, the site owner, was really welcoming and gave great recommendations for things to do locally too. We went swimming in the river a little walk from the campsite and did a lovely walk up the hill that the site is on to see 360 views from the top. Loved the site's incredibly friendly and well behaved dogs keeping us company too! Felt like a proper getaway while having everything you need too.

Me gustó A perfect spot if you're looking for a quiet place with beautiful views. The owner was very friendly and even showed us some newly hatched little peacocks. It's a great base for local walks and is just a five-minute drive from Talybont-on-Usk. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Me gustó Chris (owner) made our stay memorable thanks to the amazing views and being such a friendly host. We were very lucky to see the day after hatching 5 peacocks chicks.100% I will recommend this camping venue :)
