Me gustó Lovely little campsite, large pitches to give plenty of space to spread out. Close distance to both New Quay and Aberaeron. Showers, toilets etc all great. The best part for us was the lovely Giovanna…very friendly lady who made us feel very welcome. She also saved our day by offering us a lift into New Quay when we couldn't get a taxi in time and would have missed our boat trip. Cannot explain how grateful we were! We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area.

Me gustó Stayed here for 4 nights as a couple with our dog. Giovanni was so friendly and welcoming, never had such a warm welcome whilst camping before. The facilities here have been really thought out which is lovely, even providing a room with plug sockets, fridge/freezer and microwave. 2 bathrooms as well as separate toilets were really nice also, all a very close walk from pitches and kept very clean. Lovely sunsets and views and a very peaceful stay. We've been camping a lot over the last few years and this is up there with one of our favourite sites. Location is perfect for exploring too and within a 5/10 minutes walk from a local supermarket. Will definitely be back here

Me gustó We stayed here for a few nights during August 2025. The site was really nice with largely level tent pitches. The facilities were spotless, with two individual bath/shower rooms and two seperate toilets. There is also communal fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and charging facilities which was handy. They also have fire pits to hire with logs available which we enjoyed in the evenings. Giovanna was super helpful and friendly, including letting us postpone our visit by 1 night due to car trouble. I would highly recommend.

Me gustó Superb quiet campsite with freedom to choose your own large pitch. Sunset across the fields and over the sea. Firepit available, super clean toilets and hot showers. Good circular walk to Abaeraron via cliffs one way and inland the other . Walking distance to local pub ..... And did we say that Giovanna is so welcoming!!

Me gustó Perfect location for us, beautiful sunsets and a very peaceful setting. Despite being near a main road, you could not hear any noise from it. The shared facilities were really clean and well maintained. We stayed with our 5 year old, so I was worried about there being no play facilities, but she actually loved it and we had lots of fun, despite its simplicity. The moody cow play barn (which is also great) is just down the road for rainy days with children. The Irma pod was great and didn’t get too hot, even with the warmer weather. We loved being able to toast marshmallows over the campfire. Giovanna was friendly and easy to contact. Thank you; we have been recommending Garth View to all of our friends and we can’t wait to come back again.

No me gustó This could be user error, but I couldn’t get the shower to the temperature I needed. It was either too hot or too cold. My husband said his shower was perfect so perhaps it was me!

I completely understand your initial concern about play facilities, so it’s heartwarming to know your daughter had such a great time embracing the simplicity of the space. And yes, the Moody Cow play barn is a fantastic nearby option for rainy-day fun!
It’s great to hear the Irma pod kept cool even in warmer weather, and we love that you enjoyed toasting marshmallows around the campfire—such a classic way to make memories.

Me gustó We were looking for a last minute few days away with two children and our spaniel for a get away from day to day hustle and bustle of life, we live in Shropshire so apart from the coast the scenery was familiar, the facilities were absolutely spot on in respect of cleanliness and quality! Showers amazing and everything and more were provided and all other campers ( probably vetted to an extent ) added to the friendly environment, Giovanna the host could honestly have initially not made a more friendly welcome she’s an amazing caring lady who then went up and above to guide us on activities that made our stay, and also helped us massively by helping us jump start the car, we all felt so welcome and cared for without intrusions of expected behaviour as it went without saying , we were sorry we didn’t get to say Goodbye as we had to leave early on the Sunday morning but we will definitely call back, it’s quiet, everyone respects Giovanna and that’s why it works , nobody takes liberties with such a kind honest helpful host who genuinely cares, we feel like a friendship was built after 2 days there, will definitely return, and what a sunset to chill- AMAZING we also had a full moon on reflection, thank you Giovanna xx
