Nethercraig Holiday Park

Me gustó: Lovely well maintained site. It wasn't busy when we were there so very peaceful. Toilets clean and tidy. Loved the area for exercising the dog and the woodland area. Will definitely be back. Staff were friendly and helpful

No me gustó: Maybe just a bit to rural for. But if your looking for relaxation it's perfect.

Me gustó: This is a gem of a site set in beautiful countryside it is immaculately kept. The site owners and staff are very friendly and have considered what to add to make your stay more enjoyable - children’s play areas, dog walking area. Woodland walk, which is really lovely. There are lots of places to visit locally such as Peel Farm or slightly further afield such as V& A in Dundee. If you happen to be on the site on a Saturday a very good fish van visits, chance to sample the famous and delicious Arbroath Smokey!

Me gustó: Site was fantastic so peaceful It is beautifully kept with stunning walks just 5 minutes away with a beautiful river and waterfall, also a lovely loch with a nice cafe The family who own the site are very friendly Would definitely recommend anyone to visit

Me gustó: Staff: The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, meaning we could settle onto our pitch with minimal fuss. Site: The site was really clean and tidy. There was plenty for the children to do including play areas, woodland walks, ponds and a football pitch. There was even a designated area to exercise our dog with balance beams and tunnels. Pitch: The pitch was big enough for what we needed in a great location.

Me gustó: Lovely site, very welcoming at Reception, the toilet block is spotless as are the showers, the surrounding area is lovely. Very peaceful The WiFi is fast

Me gustó: Beautifully kept grounds. Loved the dog exercise area and the woodland walk. The little shop area and that we could borrow a couple of books/toys were brilliant. Very friendly and helpful owner. Great shared facilities (toilets, showers, washing up space) too - clean & modern.

Del administrador: Thank you for taking the time to leave your review however we would like to address the points you have raised as feel that you have very unfairly left a negative review. You have stated that our park facilities "were very basic, very poor", we are a country park with a view to enjoying nature and our surroundings. All our touring pitches are very spacious (all can comfortably fit a tourer/motorhome with awning and a car), with electric hook up available at no extra cost, we have a shop on park selling essentials and local produce along with a lending library, we have a private 22 acre woodland walk for all on park to enjoy (where you can also find our relaxing yoga platform) along with our toilet, washing and shower facilities. Although our toilet and laundry facilities building isn't brand new it is in an excellent condition and we pride ourselves on the high standards of cleanliness we provide (as evident in many many of our reviews) therefore to score us so low on cleanliness does not seem justified. You have also stated "almost no children facilities" which is false as we have a large outdoor sandpit, table tennis, a small play park and playhouse suitable for younger children along with a larger play park suitable for all ages, we have a football playing area, as already mentioned our woodland walk to explore where you can also do den building. Inside reception we have our lending library stocked with books, DVDs, toys and games which are all free to borrow. We would also like to highlight that you have rated the accommodation as 4/10 however you did not hire any accommodation from us and so this should not be reflected in our score. You have also given us a very low rating on our location however we advertise exactly where we are and as already mentioned we are a rural park set amidst the Angus glens and the heather-clad moorland, Nethercraig is a beautiful, tranquil park where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As you have given us this review over 2 weeks after a one night stay we are also querying whether you have left a review of Nethercraig mistakenly and was it perhaps meant for another park you stayed at?
