Me gustó Beautiful campsite, quiet and peaceful. We met Zoe, the owner, who was friendly and explained everything we needed to know. Local information was available for all to see. Immaculate toilets and shower.

Me gustó Beautiful place, beautiful views, peaceful, clean toilets and showers, nice open space for the kids to play including a sand pit. Our son loved the small library where you can borrow books for the night.

Me gustó I loved the peacefulness. The compost toilets and outside showers were pretty cool also. You were able to receive a fire pit on arrival. Everything was clearly labeled. There was a honesty shop. Also really loved the small guide you received via email with all the info about the campsite. We used this a lot.

No me gustó We accidentally set up tent (in the dark) on a hill so we kept sliding down the hill when were sleeping. Next time we will arrive earlier and not on the hill. But as to be expected as it’s the countryside.

Me gustó Lovely campsite, beautiful views, great facilities, lovely owners!
Beautiful, just about the right size campsite, very eco-friendly with little tuck shop (farm eggs, apple juice, jams) on site! Fire pits available for free, large bag of wood 🪵 for £10. Hot water in showers, clean eco toilets!

Me gustó Our stay was only for 1 night and we didn't manage to take full advantage to walk around the farm but a very well equipped camp site. Wasn't quite sure where to go on entry but found someone to direct us.
Has an extension plug to help charge items, some honesty box items like jam, apple juice, honey.
Toilets and showers, sinks had hot water.
Books to borrow and a fridge.

Not sure if the site does have WiFi.
I have unlimited data so didnt think to check.

I would definitely go back though and hope too next year.

No me gustó No eggs! Did make us a little sad as we genuinely expected to see some fresh eggs available. I know the season starts to drop off now but we're still paying customers. Sept 2025.

The toilets did smell. I cant remember if thats a norm for campsites.

Me gustó Quiet site, nice clean facilities and the owner was lovely and came round to ask if we needed logs for a fire in the early evening. Honesty shop was a nice touch and we enjoyed some apple juice from apples they had grown. Close to lots of walks if you like that kind of thing and easy to get to and find.

No me gustó Thought the animals on the farm would be closer but nevermind!

Me gustó We absolutely loved our stay at this eco campsite – it’s the kind of place that makes you want to ditch the WiFi and actually talk to each other (I know, terrifying but surprisingly enjoyable). Everything here is back-to-basics in the best way: wide open pitches with plenty of breathing room, a relaxed family feel, and views so good you’ll forget to check your phone.

The fire pits are a brilliant touch – nothing says “perfect evening” quite like toasting marshmallows while pretending you could survive in the wild. Ours crackled away for days (the marshmallows lasted about five minutes).

Despite being stripped back, the facilities are spot-on: toilets and showers are clean and well-kept, and the washing-up area makes camp life easy rather than a chore. The honesty pantry is a real gem too – like having a tiny campsite shop where you can grab essentials (or treats) without the guilt of a full-blown supermarket dash.

It’s rare to find somewhere that feels so chilled yet so well looked after. The large pitches mean you’re not elbow-to-elbow with your neighbours, and the whole place has a welcoming, unhurried vibe – the perfect reset button.

We left with smoky clothes, happy bellies, and big smiles… already planning our next visit.
